Marc's WOW Moment

My DH Marc really enjoys being at OH gatherings and meeting new people and enjoying the friends that we have made.  On our way to the ST V Christmas party we went to the hospital to visit Christie S.  who had just had surgery.  Marc and I spent about a half hour talking to her and getting to know her.  (We love you Christie)  Marc and her had some real good conversation.

Now on to the WOW Moment.

Last night we were seated at dinner and Marc was going around the table greeting each person and trying to place faces and names together.  He got all the way around the table to the person seated on his left.  He looks at me and says, "do I know her?  Have we met her before today?"  I said "Marc, remember the woman we visited before the christmas party at St. V's?  She just had her surgery. Chris?!"

The look on his face was priceless.  Peggy and Johnna will vouch for me on this.  He looked like he just got shocked by electricity!  He jumped a bit and his eyes got big.  He said "NO WAY!"  His jaw dropped.  And we all laughed!  

Christie looks so amazing already!!!  She has changed so much and looks fabulous! Marc just couldn't get over it.  He just kept mentioning it on the way home.

I am so glad to say I was there to witness this moment. The look on his face was priceless.

Priceless it was, I thought we were going to have to pick his lips off the floor.  That was a WOW moment for sure.
