Thursday....

Good morning everyone...

It was so good to see everyone yesterday even though it was for such a sad reason that we got together. It is comforting to know however that in time of need, our OH family are there for each of us. It was wonderful meeting you Johnna..and once again, thank you for arranging for the fellowship at Logan's afterward.

Well..the big server/software upgrades that I'd been working on for the past month or so are now complete. So far, we have come across 3 bugs that need worked out yet. I'm making a list as we come across them so I can let IT know about all of them. All in all though, it went fairly smoothly. This was the one big project that I was wanting to be able to complete before having to take off on another medical leave so it is a huge relief to have it completed.

I'm suppose to have a 1:1 with my boss today. She's letting people know if they are getting a raise and if so, how much. It's set for 2-2:30. I think I'm going to ask her if she could do it a little bit early. I'm not feeling real woo-hoo right now. We'll see.

Thank you friends, for being there yesterday. I am running out of steam. I don't know how to make it through all this. I just want my life from last week back.

Her tae kwon do school awarded her an honorary black belt last night. She wanted one so badly.

Good morning all.  It is going to be a busy and hectic day here.  Work....uggh!   That a part of having 3 days off that I don't like, the going back! LOL

Sherri, good to hear that the server upgrade went well.  And for only 3 bugs so far, thats great!  Good luck with the raise!  You deserve way more than what they will give you, no matter the amount.  You are always taking care of everything they need, so you had better get the max amount!

Linda, my heart will be with you today. My daughters asked me several more questions last night on the ride home.  I explained about her organ donation, and Molly my youngest, said that if anything were to ever happen to her, she would want to donate everything she could as well.  She said that she would share Maggie's story with her classmates and how she gave her organs so others could live.

Thanks. I got a 3% raise. Not the best one I've ever had but considering I was on medical leave for almost 4 months of last year and desk duty for more of the rest of it..and given the economy, I certainly can't complain. We're waiting for me to be able to put in a full year with no medical leaves in order to put me in for a promotion. That hasn't happened since 2001!!

So..I got my raise...then left for the week.  Tomorrow is my day off anyway but I think I'm starting to get a brochial bug. I tried to get in to see my doc today but she's booked solid so I'll try to get one of her 'same day' appointments in the morning. The longer I stayed, the more I coughed...the more I coughed, the more my stomach hurt. So...thought it best to be at home with my 'cough-cough...ouch!' than make the people at work suffer & risk passing it on to them.

Hey everyone....

I hope everyone had safe travels yesterday....I am so sorry I didn't make it...I started feeling bad Tuesday night and was at hospital most of the day Wednesday. My blood pressure is dropping again, not sure why. Maybe a med reaction. So I had dopamine running thru me to help. I just feel worn out. But thats enough about me.

Linda I am holding your family tight in my thoughts and prayers today. Along with Terry & Lyn and Lisa....

Sherry I hope you get a huge raise! You are a true asset,  so they better recognize :) 

Also, not sure if anyone posted....but Tracy did an amazing job as support group leader....it went really well and I had a very good time....

My cousin  Rex who attended the meeting is having surgery tomorrow morning with Dr. Huse. Please keep him in your prayers. He is very nervous!

Hi Everyone,
I have a terrific headache today, the weather affects my trigiminal neuralgia & today is one of those days. Hopefully I can close my eyes a little bit when the twins take their naps.Really, getting them open is the problem-ha! DH spent the evening at  Karen & Kenny's. His sisters from N.Carolina, & Tipton were there ,as well as the one who lives locally. He said Karen was pretty tired most of the time, but they had a good visit.They had supper together & spent the time laughing /crying/ & reflecting on the good times. Hospice Nurse is suppose to come today, & I am going over after Amy gets up. 

 Linda- my thoughts & prayers are with you today. There aren't enough words to tell you how I/we all feel. I can close my eyes & see Maggie in heaven dancing in her tiara. Just know our hearts are with you & we are here for you & your family. Even though you are walking threw this valley, you aren't alone. Please try to rest this afternoon & let us know if you need anything.
 
Lisa- I am praying for a speedy recovery for you- may the guys eat so much Taco Bell they get sick of it- haha!!!!Well, all but the refried beans & cheese! Talk to you soon!

Jacqui, I am sitting here drinking my coffee,using my mug & thinking of you. You are just to good to me- I love you bunches girl!! You look wonderful- wow-wow!! is all I can say! Did you talk to Tracy all the way home & listen to Elton? I had my music cranked & had to stop for a potty break & more coffee. Us traveling girls have to have our "go juice"to make our engines run too- hee~hee!
   
   It was  good to meet & get to know everyone there alittle better yesturday after we went to the showing. One good thing about our "family" we love & care for each other in good times & bad. 

  I wish you all a peaceful day, full of reflection of the love that God has given us. I am keeping Linda,Mike & Mikey; Terry & Lyn;Lisa & Niel;Maryanne's friends; Linda Kay & Rita;Nan & Julie;  & everyone else in my prayers. Sometimes I am at a lost for words but God knows what your needs are!!!!

Ellen, I'm glad you like the mug. I'll try not to clutter your house up with too much Irish stuff.  You are just too much fun to buy for!  I'm glad I got to spend some time with you Honey.  I do love you a whole, whole bunch.  Elton did help me get home safely and so did the coffee!!!

Ellen...whatever you were gonna give me, just add it to the donation bowl on the 15th..ok? I was going to go regardless and it was much nicer going with lots of wonderful company than by myself. So..same amount of gas would had been used either way...but it was much better with you all than it would have been without you. I would enjoy trips with Bill much more if he kept me entertained the way you all did! LOL!

Good morning all.

I finally got up and moving enough to get online.  I have been slow moving this morning.  We got home around midnight.  I am tired but poor Marc had to open at 6:30 this morning so he was up and gone before I was awake enough to think.  Peggy had to be in at 8 so she is probably working on her second pot of coffee already!  LOL

Sherri, thanks so much for driving us down there last night.  It was great to spend time with all of the OHers.  Johnna, thanks for the arrangements with Logan's.  It was so fun to be there with our OH family.  It was great to meet you.  We truly had a blast!

Linda, Sweetie, I am in prayer for you all day today.  Your sweet little Maggie was an angel on earth.  Now she has her wings, her sister Lucy, AND A BLACK BELT!"  That's so cool!  Gather strength from your OH family and know God loves you.

My prayers are with Lisa today.  Her surgery is supposed to take 5 hours starting around 8 am.  Neil is supposed to text me later today and let me know how she is doing.  I will post as soon as I hear something.
