Celebrating MAGGIE- BOWL - March 15th, 2009

Everyone,

I have set up a FUNdraiser to celebrate the MIRACLES of MAGGIE and her LIFE , with our OH family, as well as the family/friends of Linda and Mike. I have discussed this with Linda and have requested that they attend as well as their families and friends! 

I would love to make this as memorable and enjoyable, as possible!

My husband works for the facility! The owner has agreed to donate the lanes to us for the event! You are welcome to bring friends and family! Please remember that this is donations only and that all proceeds will go directly to Linda and Mike for them to use towards the expenses of the services and such, as they see fit! There is a meeting room that we may use as well for a pitch-in to keep the expenses down and also have it WLS friendly! There is also a concession stand at the lanes for those that are interested in using it, as well!

Dawn, Thanks for setting this up - what a wonderful time we all will have together- supporting them, whether we bowl , or not!!!! Just being together will be great, & those who can't go to the life celebration in Terre Haute, can love on Linda & Mike there!!!! Plus, our $$$ will benefit them in whatever way they need. Having worked with families who have lost their little ones, I can tell you they asppreciate anything & everything done for them. We all can rally around them and support them. I know that afterwards, you need love & support as well. Bless you for setting this up. I know they /we will be blessed, as well.

Please count me and my family in ,i wont be able to bowl(and you really dont want me to) but the kids can and if i can help in anyway let me know.

It's on my calendar.  Thanks for arranging this.  I won't be able to make the viewing or funeral due to work commitments, so I appreciate this opportunity to show Linda & Mike I care.  You're the greatest Dawn!

That works!  My son and son in law are both avid bowlers, as well as my grandsons.  (My son in law has bowled multiple 300 games)  Me - I'm just mediocre.  I don't think I even have my bowling ball anymore....  but a house ball works too. 

Dawn, can we do a 50-50 raffle like most leagues do?  One half of the money go to the person whose ticket is drawn, and the other half goes to Maggie's fund?  Just a thought.....  Sorry - mind is always on overdrive!  LOL

I have a 50/50 planned as well as some gift bag raffles and such! It will be fun! The more the memorable, is the plan!

Count me in, I will talk to Steven tonight, I am hoping I can get him to come.  Don't think that will be a problem I think he was born with a bowling ball in his hand.  Let me know if you need help with anything, I will help in anyway.
