Lyn update

I am just going to post a quick update tonight and then not post daily for a few days unless there is big news while we concentrate on Linda and her family.

Lyn looks better today than he did over the weekend.  He no longer has a fever and they were able to get the new PICC line in today and take out the infected one.  He has had his eyes opened a lot more today than he did over the weekend.  Nothing new as far as brain function.

I won't be able to leave the hospital to go to the visitation but please let Linda know I am thinking of her and her family and prayers are with them.  I thought I could leave the hospital here sometime soon and go to Riley to give my condolences in person.

Love,  Terry

Terry,

So glad things are a little better. Have thought about you both a lot since we were over. I told Joe that for ever what reason, I felt like I had known you for years. He felt the same way.

We are here for you, whether you need to vent, chat, or are in need of a popsiscle run or a visit--let us know!!

Hi Terry!

Thanks for posting an update. You and Lyn are never far from my mind.  I am glad to hear his fever is gone.  Are they moving him more like you had mentioned?  I hope so.

Please try and take care of yourself too Terry.
Blessings to you all, Leah

Terry,

It is so good to see that there have been improvements! Let's pray that with the infection gone and the new PICC line in that things will continue to improve daily! Just keep talking to him sweetie. He is still your best friend and wants to hear all about everything that touches your life. He's just a better listener now than I'm sure he, and most husbands, are usually. There have been times when I didn't want Bill to talk..just to listen. Now is your opportunity! Talk his ear off.

Please, continue to keep us posted on Lyn's condition and let us know if there is anything we can do to help ease your burden. We're a big board with lots of people..so we can definately help with more than just one crisis at a time...ok? We want to hear about Lyn just as we want to hear about Mikey and remembering Maggie. We want to be there for you and Linda both. So please don't back away even for a single day. We love you too much to allow you to do that.

Our God is a big God. We don't always..ok, we seldom..understand his reasoning and just have to trust that he knows WAY more than we do and has his own reasoning for everything. He is more than capable of holding you, Lynn, Linda, Mike, Mikey, and Maggie all in the palm of his hand.

Many hugs & prayers…

Sherri

I'm glad to hear the good news about Lyn.  Brenda and I really enjoyed the time we spent with you and Lyn on Sunday and we'll see you again real soon.

Terry,
I agree with Sherri 100%, there is plenty of room for everyone that needs prayers, please continue to update us when you can.  God can handle lots of request and there are plenty of people on this board to pray for everyone that needs prayers no matter how big or how small that request for prayer is.

Even in times of mourning we rejoice in God's goodness.  I am still praying for you and Lyn and waiting for his full recovery.  Praise God for the good news.
