Prenatal vitamins
I am finding it hard to stand the taste and texture of the Flintstones vitamins. I was thinking I read somewhere that some people take pre natal vitamins. Has anyone done this or heard of this? I am not sure how many it would take. Also wondered about the gummies but I think that would take a lot to equal what we need.
Maybe it is just cause I am living from my car right now but it just seems so hard to get the vitamins and protein in and fluids. I am going to have to really concentrate on this.
Thanks for any advice, I would rather take a pill but maybe there is something about it being chewed?

I understand totally about the Flintstones. They taste awful. I don't know how kids stand 'em. I know I was told not to take the gummies, as they didn't have everything we need.
I have seen on other boards that some do take prenatal vitamins. You might check with Dr. Huse's nurse - she could probably tell you.
I do know that Bariatric Advantage makes a multivitamin. There's also Centrum liquid.
I'm sure you can take a pill - you might have to cut it in half if it is too big though.
How are you doing? Make sure you get what you need in. You have to keep up your strength. You are always in my thoughts.

Terry, if you get a chance to go to ST V's giftshop they have bariatric advantage multi vitamins that are chewable and taste great!!!! Also you might contact your NUT. Mine let me cut centrum adult vitamins in half and take those instead.
But you may need to do the chewables a while longer yet. Try the bariatric Advantage ones. They are good!
Huge hugs,
Tracy

They come in Tropical, Berry, and Orange. I have tried the first two and loved both of them... NO after taste or anything. They have samples. You might call and ask them to mail you some to try.

Terry, I also go to Clarian Bariatrics and take Prenatal Vitamins and get them free a Meijer Pharmacy. Not sure which brand though. But you can call them and ask them which ones are free, they have several. You do need a script to get them free. If not, Sam's club has a brand of prenatal vitamins that's 350ct for about 3.00
