X Post: 3 Months Post Op!!! (Couldn't forget my Indy Family!)
Copied From My Blog:
OMG!...lol. Seriously, where does the time go? 3 months already! Freaking amazing! Anyway, I am doing great, I am feeling great. it's just amazing! I don't see how people criticize this surgery the way they do. So many people are against it, and it's just beyond me. If you follow the rules and know what you need to do, you are going to succeed hands down!
I started my journey at my Highest Recorded Weight of 469 Pounds. I ended up losing only 6 pounds before surgery :-(, and my surgery weight was 463. Today I am 359 Pounds! So I have lost 110 pounds from my highest weight and 104 Pounds since surgery, and I have lost about 27 pounds this month, which is just amazing! My weight has been slowing down alot, but that is going to happen and I know that. I actually pretty much lost on Par with what I did last month. The first month was just ridiculous obviously..lol! And I know I will eventually get to my goal.
Speaking of goals, I have changed my goal weight from 200 to 225. I find 225 more feasible and I would most likely be happy there, and anything extra would just be the icing on the cake. So I have about 134 more pounds to lose before I get to my goal which is alot, but I know that My DS will help me along! I am not getting my labs drawn for my 3 month labs, instead I am going to wait for my surgeons suggestion and do it at 6 months. Tons of people have had them done at 6 months and have done just fine with tweaking and whatnot. I have been taking my vitamins and getting my protein in religiously! So I hope that is helping me out some.
Any who, I don't want to take any more of your time. I will post 3 month pictures on my profile hopefully today! I just can't believe it guys. I just know that it can only get better from here. Each day brings something new and exciting to the table. Hopefully I can go to an amusement park this summer and actually enjoy myself and ride some rides or something! That would be an amazing feat for me! Anyway, take care!
