It's been two weeks now since my initial visit to St. Vincent and my psych eval. Very little communication from them. No word that my paper work has even been sent to my insurance. Is this the usual or should I start all over with someone else like Clarian. Help! I just don't understand what is going on

I think I'd give them a call and touch base with your doctor's office.  It's easy to get other papers piled on top of your in the office.  A little persistance has never hurt anyone!

I emailed Amy at the office several times and she was good to email me back within a few hours.  She let me know when she had filed everything.

Then I called the insurance company weekly to be sure it was being processed.

Good luck,  Make some calls and jump on it.  Switching hospitals probably won't help anything.

Thanks,
Tracy

Personally I am using Clairian, because when I called St V's to set up the information meeting, they didn't really seem to be on top of things.  I do think however that it is probably going to slow things down more if you switch hospitals.

I say call and bug them to death.

Good luck!!
