surgeon in Indy/Carmel

Hi!  I am doing some leg work for my sister who lives in Carmel.  She has seen my success with RYN and decided that she is interested in looking into it.  Since I live in Lexington,  I am not able to reccomend a surgeon.  Can anyone tell me a surgeon or surgery center that she should start looking at?

Hi Amy,  I had my surgery at St. Vincent's Bariatric Center of Excellence in Carmel. My sister did also.  We love St. Vincent's!  We both used Dr. Gupta and she is an amazing person.  We love her!  There are several on the Indiana message boards that use St. Vincents.  Dr. Jones is also one that alot of them use and love.

Tell her to call for her free consultation class and check them out!  It's about a 3 hour process but is well worth it.  And no obligations if she isn't sure or ready to decide.

There are many surgeons in the Carmel/Indy area. Clarian is now a center of excellence, as well as St. Francis, and of course St. Vincents. Indiana University also has a program.  St. Vincents has about 8 surgeons and each person you talk to will tell you THEIR surgeon is the best. That is because that paticular surgeon gave them back their life. I know my surgeon practices at Clarion also because that is where his practice is located. Good luck on your venture.

St V's in Carmel-great  Center of Excellence- my doc was Rose Marie Jones.  I hear all of them are good, but my husband and step daughter all used Doctor Jones and we just think the world of her.  The last person that was talking to me before I went to sleep was Jones.  She has such a gentle spirit about her and I was very confident with her.  God bless you.

We're all partial to our own surgeons, but having said that - I absolutely adore Dr. Evanson.  He's funny, nice, and some pretty good eye candy to boot! 

He's in with Dr. Inman.  My surgery went without a hitch.  And you can ask several people on here - I had a party in my room the same night I had surgery!  LOL
