update on grandma and my son

First off, Thank you all sooo much for the prayers and well wishes!  I am sorry I wasn't able to get back on here and update what was happening.  I ended up taking the 10yr old in to the doctor, long story short he ended up being admitted to Clarian West for the night for pneumonia and hypoxia.  His o2 sats were 89% in the clinic, initially got up to 94% and then after 30 mins fell back down and would not come back up so they decided to have him spend the night for observation.  We got absolutely wonderful care and after 2 doses of steroids, 2 doses of antibiotics and neb treatments every 4 hrs with the addition of Flovent now, he is bouncing around the house like nothing happened, we got home about 2pm today.  My husband called me at 7am and told me my 13 yr old was now running a fever and was also wheezing so we started his treatments back up and he is now feeling better so I am hoping we get this licked.  My grandma is still status quo, she is also at Clarian West and her dementia is acting up so she isn't making sense when she talks, not real sure who we are.  Her chest xray is still the same and she is sleeping alot.  The plan is at this point just to keep her comfortable.  Thanks again girls!  Love ya!

Glad to hear you lil guy is doing better, its so hard for us mommy's to see our children sick.  Hope your older one bounces back quickly, you have had your share of trials this week for sure.  Glad to hear you grandma is getting some sleep.  When my grandpa stays in the hospital its really hard for him to sleep so he gets extra miserable, first from being sick then from lack of sleep.
