1: What type of books/magazines do you like to read? Right before my surgery I invested in People magazine to read while I was off work. My subscription is about to expire but I love to keep up on the famous people gossip!
2: Do you have a favorite book or magazine? Probably a toddler book, one with music, because I sing the songs to Zachary. His current favorite is Elmo does the Hokey Pokey. I hide it because it's so long I get tired of reading it!
3: I am looking at subscribing to the OH magazine. I have thought about it often, just never done it.

1. I like gothic romances, biographies, and mysteries. Also political books such as by Ann Coulter, Sean Hannity, etc. Magazines...mainly political and business. I subscribe to National Review, Entrepreneur, The Limbaugh Letter, Money, and Impremis. I also like to thumb through Women's Day and Family Circle, though I've slowed down on those because I'm so sick of green this and green that. Bah.
2. My favorite would have to be National Review. So much intellectual stimulation and information. You really have to be on your toes to keep up with it.
3. I'm reading Pilgrim's Progress right now, one of the classics I'm trying to catch up on. Like you, I want to read Tony Dungy's book. Next in line, though, is Ann Coulter's new one. I was going to read a Jane Austen novel next, but I'm anxious to read Guilty.
Thanks for doing this, Tracy, it's fun!

1. What type of books/magazines do you like to read? I'm a goober I know but I love reading cookbooks. I guess I collect them. I love going to rummage sales and such and finding really old cookbooks. I have some that have recipes for opossum! I like Readers Digest too.
2. Do you have a favorite book or magazine, if so what? I don't really have a favorite book. Once I finish a book I'm finished with it. My mother will read the same book over and over. She has this one called "Ride the Wind" and she reads it at least once a month. I could never do that. I don't have enough time to read as much as I want anyway so I don't want to waste what time I do have on something I've already read.
3. What book are you reading right now or are you looking to read? I'm still on a Faulkner trip so I'm in "The Sound and the Fury". I finished "Sanctuary" recently and it was the most difficult book I've ever read. I'm so glad I finished it though. It was very good.
I love to read, even though I don't have much time for it right now. The only chance I get is when I'm on the elliptical machine. Nice side benefit, though, is that I actually look forward to exercising!

1. I like to read historical romances. My husband used to work in a book store and always called the historical romances "hysterical" romances. He said it so often that his boss actually repeated it to a customer by accident one day! She was ready to kill him!

2. My favorite book is usually the one I'm reading right now. But I really like a serries by Sherilyn Kenyon called the Dark Hunter series. Its a romantic series about vampires, werewolves and more. I like them because all of her heroines are just a little off center (i.e. size 16 or tall & thin with a scar on her face or a new age guru, etc.). They are not perfect people, but they are perfect for the hero! Another fav is anything by Amanda Quick, historical romances and Jayne Castle, sci-fi romances (both aka Jayne Ann Krentz).
3. Right now I'm reading a book by LaVyrle Spencer called Morning Glory. It's set in 1941 about a couple who have each had a horrific past, but find love in each other just as World War II is starting. She is a very poignant writer.
I've tried the ObesityHelp Magazine, but didn't find it to my liking. I hope you all enjoy it more than I did.
Thanks for asking Tracy. It is always fun to read people's answers.
1. I like to read anything by Danielle Steel, Stephen King, Robin Cook, and Sidney Sheldon, not that I have had much time in the past 4 years to read these types of books.
2. My favorite book would have to be Star by Danielle Steel
3. Right now I am taking a break from reading books, I am tried of reading school books. lol. I have alot of new books to read, just no time, since I just finished my Bacholars, and getting ready to start my Masters next week if it is a go.

OK everyone here you go.
1. What type of books/magazines do you like to read?
Right now. I like to read magazines and books that help with a craft or project I am doing. I try to stay busy. I don't eat if I am doing something.
2. Do you have a favorite book or magazine, if so what?
I have really enjoyed Tast of Home: Cooking for 2. My husband and I have been empty nesters since early November. It's hard to cook for only 2. It gets harder when one of them has a baby size stomach. This magazine has really helped me reduced cooking.
3. What book are you reading right now or are you looking for to read?
I am reading a book by David (Dave) Ramsey. I don't remember the title. It's about getting out of debt. I am about two-thirds through it. He makes sense so far.
Tracy-Thanks so much for keeping this going. It's so much fun.

2. Do you have a favorite book or magazine, if so what?
My favorite magazine is Old House Journal. I'm all about historic restoration.
3. What book are you reading right now or are you looking for to read?
Right now I'm reading 740 Park. It's a biography of the apartment building at 740 Park Avenue in New York. It's like a collection of mini-biographies of the rich and famous from the 1930s to the present.
