Update on Maria C. aka pentacostgal_76
I visited with Maria C. for a little while last night. She is really sore and has been asking herself the same questions we all did right out of surgery......"Lord, what have I done? Why did I do this to my body?" She felt more at ease when I told her that is a normal thing to think right after surgery. The first two weeks are the hardest, but she is a real trooper.
You can tell that she is losing weight in her face and wrists! She said that is the only place she can see anyway! I have invited her, and the family over for supper this evening. I am making her some of my favorite when I was just a few days out! Yummy chicken boullion! LOL
She is trying her best to get all of her fluids in, and she is doing well with her protein, so as long as she keeps that up, and gets to walking, she is going to be just fine!
She is supposed to get her drain tube out tomorrow. She is so excited about that happening. Luckily for her, it hasn't bothered her like it did some.
She said to tell everyone Thank You for all the support. She wishes she could be on the board more, but since the house fire, they have to be without internet until they can find a permanent home.
Will update more on her as she progresses!
