I saw Dr. Stote last week and haven't any complints. His only suggestion was for me to attend one support meeting. I will attend as many as possible, I find them very helpful. Good luck!

Just one visit. It cost $125 or $120 I forget. I schedualed my pshych exam, pre op group and surgon visit all in one day. It was a long day, but worth it. Take notes, they give you a lot of info. My Daughter goes for her first visit March 9. Keep me posted on your progress. The support is really a blessing.

You know everyone supporting everyone on here is going to be a help for me! $120 is the amt. Learning fast its a big step and know I will be successful! My prayers too to your daughter in this step she is taking. We both are beginning as I say the journey to change our lives!

thanks again!

I had mine with him and it was just fine.  He was very thorough and asked me a ton of questions that made me think about how food played a role in my life.  I thought it was valuable time spent.  I have no complaints about him.  I do know you are allowed to go elsewhere but i would make sure they are approved by your insurance or at least accepted as a source for the insurance.

Good luck,

Huge hugs,
Tracy

Tracy  thanks a bundle for the reassurance. I went ahead and keeping with him. Ive put God in the middle of this situation and know HE will get me thru the process of him and the journey.

I had Dr. Stote also.  He was just fine.  He asked me a lot of questions in an attempt to determine my food issues.  The only recommendation he had for me was that I attend support groups each month until my surgery, which I did.
