Happy Valentine's Day everyone! Hope it is a wonderful do for all!
Time to hop in the shower and head to work. I don't want to go since I have had the whole week off. It is going to be so hard just to get motivated, but thats ok, I need to!
Today I have to work and deliver Girl Scout Cookies that Mariah sold. She sold 100 boxes, so I am proud of her. Now to just get them all delivered and out of my way! LOL

I woke up to realize that whoever ordered snow for Valentines day will be disappointed. It came to the WRONG address. I got it here! I sure never ordered it!!!! Oh well. LOL
I hope you all have a blast today in Indy. I will be thinking about you. I am sad that I can't make it but these things just happen. Not to worry. God will work it all out for me. I just know he will.
I am not planning to do much today. I am going to make Marc a nice dinner here at home and spend time with him before he goes to work. He brought me potted flowers last night so I can plant them when the weather is right. I thought that was so sweet. He also got me a new top when we went to Walmart. (I love the clearance rack!) It was a size L and it fits!! I am so happy about that too!

Good morning everyone!
I so enjoyed seeing Annette, Dawn, Gail, and Scott yesterday. And then I got to talk with Dawn, Gail, and Tracy. To top it off, I get to see more of my OH friends tonight! Woo-hoo!
I had gotten some disappointing..yet, expected news yesterday. My intestinal issues are outside of the realm of knowledge for the IU GI team. Mayo in Minnesota is the next step. Lord, I hope they can take care of it because I don't know of anywhere else that might could. My wonderful, wonderful pcp had it in the works to get me an appointment with a few short hours of that decision being made. She certainly works quicker than ANY of the specialists that I've had!! If anyone has any experience with Mayo, please drop me a line. Bill is concerned about if we stay at a hotel while tests are being done, how will he/he & I get back & forth since he can't drive..and if I'm drugged for a test, I won't be able to drive. I told him that maybe they have a family wing or something. I am assuming that once I go up there, that they will run one test after another until they get a diagnosis..and not send me home in between to wait on the results before doing the next test. Tiffany is upset because if they have to do a surgery, I will be so far away from her. Anyway, we should know before next week is up when my appointment is. I hate winter..and I hate cold..but I'll brave Minnesota in the winter-time if it'll get some answers for us and my stomach be returned to normal.

I used to live in Rochester and know many people who have gone to Mayo. Don't worry too much about getting around there. All the buildings are connected to each other by "subways" (walkways with lots of places to stop and rest, great artwork, chapels, even a patient education center with all the important medical textbooks and librarians ready to help you research your condition). Many of the downtown hotels are linked to the subways, or have shuttle buses to Mayo. And once you're on campus, you can request an escort/wheelchair to help you get around.
This is what Mayo does, and they do it well. You'll be amazed how quick they get tests ordered and run. They won't have you go home until they've done everything they think they need to figure stuff out.
