Hi y'all! Had my nutritionist appointment today and also saw Dr. Mattar's nurse practitioner. I had never seen her before, she's nice.

They both got after me a little bit about the red hots and the bread! I was truthful when they had me list what I had been eating. I knew my weight loss had slowed a little bit, but I haven't worried about it a whole lot because I'm still losing steadily, albeit slowly. Ruthann assured me that it's the bread that's slowing me down. It's true...even through it's whole wheat bread, I eat some nearly every day. She recommended Flat Out Flatbread, so I'm gonna get some tomorrow and lose the wheat bread. The red hots are already gone, I was smart enough to figure that out. They were overall very happy with my rate of loss, as am I. I'm iron deficient, but I have not been taking the extra iron regularly because I get so constipated. I'm taking extra iron anyway in the prenatals, but boy when I take that extra pill, whew! I have to work at it! I know...TMI. Not too bad today, although not the best choices, I guess:

Breakfast - 3:00 a.m. hot Click
Later - about 1/4 Jimmy Dean's breakfast bowl
Lunch - about 1/2 a junior Steakburger with cheese, a few french fries (Yeah, I know...no more of this for a while).
Dinner - it's pizza night, but I'm not hungry. Might eat one square since we're getting Pizza King (my favorite!)

I added my protein shake this morning ...

Wake up: Protein Shake
B: egg, cheese, one slice bacon, half a muffin
S: yougurt and a few strawberries
L: Turkey burger w/ cheese (threw this up)
D: doubtful ..maybe yogurt before bed

Just wanted to add that I did my treadmill this morning for a mile.  Then again this evening and this evening I was able to JOG on the treadmill for a short distance.  I used to watch biggest loser and be in awe that people who were heavy could jog........now I am one.

Way to go, Jeannie! I hate to run, but I love to walk! I'm gonna do that today when I get home from work. The earlier I do it, the more likely that I WILL do it.

We were at the hospital all day so I didn't have great choices but I did take my little lunch box with food for me.

B-Protein Bar
L- Shrimp 1/2 c.
S- 1/2 c. lite yogurt 
      Chex mix
D- 1/2c yogurt, sf jello/fruit cup
S- Protein bar

Prunes throughout day

protein-62  Calories- 980

I know I am going to have to add a protein shake but I just can't find one that doesn't make me sick.  I bought some new ones I am gonna try....keep your fingers crossed.
