Hum, I am not used to being the first one to start the days posting.  Not much going on today but working, and going to the Y after work to release some stress.

Had a bad night last night with our 14 year old, she is bi-polar and we had an outburst.  I was called the b***h, she drew her fist back to hit me 3 times and told me to get the f*** out of her house. I said do what!!!!!!!!!!!!!. She threw the cordless phone at me and refused to pick it up.  She was cussing everyone out and refused to take her medicine.  She finally took her medicine after she spoke to her mother.

I heard some people are getting together in Indy tomorrow for dinner, where is it going to be, I may try to stop by.  I will be in Indy visiting with my sister, and will be in no big hurry to get home.  LOL.

Guess I better get to work, talk to everyone soon.

Peggy... that is for you!  I think you need a hug AND a night out after that ordeal.  Bless your heart.  You are a strong and caring person to take on that kind of responsibility.

Happy Friday the 13th. I don't mind that date at all. My favorite number is 13! My daughter was born on the 13th of May also. 13 was always my choice of number on my basketball and softball uniforms growing up!

The sun is shining in the the metropolis of Crothersville Indiana.   Crothersville is sooooo big.. it has ONE stoplight. Yes folks... one whole stoplight.  Has all the colors too... red, yellow and green!!
I am from Columbus but have lived here just over a year now. I love the quiet. But I do miss living in Columbus. Its only a 20 minute drive for me.  I miss being able to just run to Target though!!  LOL

I did my fastest 2 mile walk ever yesterday at the Y! I was walking along and saw that 20 minutes had just flown by!!  I walk on the treadmill so I can hang on and not fall!   Did my usual arms, abs and legs on the machines too.  I am really addicted to working out now.  I was so athletic as a child and teen.  Its nice to be getting back to that kind of activity.  Really nice

I have been checking out the OH Conference that is happening in Chicago in June. (a little bird, um... Lee Ann mentioned this to me) Sounds like a plan for a girls weekend in Chicago to me!

I hope everyone has a fabulous Valentines Day tomorrow.

My hubby got me a bouquet of flowers yesterday since he has to work all weekend.  I was so surprised!  He is my hero! Love you Darrell!

Hugs and prayers to all my OH family!!!
Blessings to you all, Leah

Good morning all!

I had a rough first half of the night but ~1 or so, my bowels decided to settle down so I could get some sleep. I slept in until 7. For the first time in a few days, I finally feel rested!

Is anyone else planning on going to Denny's at 1:30 today? Dawn Smith & I plan on going.

Tomorrow...the plan is to go to the Country Buffet for dinner @4. It is located on 31S/East street on the south side of town. It is on the west side of the street just north of the 465 ramps. If you are coming on 465, you'd want to get off at the East street North/US 31N exit so that you'll be heading north of 465. It'll be the first light you come to...turn left (West) into the shopping center. I'm trying to picture that parking lot exactly in my mind...after you turn left, Kroger will be to your right...either you keep going straight..or do a little jig to the left & then go straight. I'm pretty sure the Country Buffet will be dead straight in front of you. It sets back off of the road. Hope to see you all there!

Peggy...does your step-daughter have other symptoms besides flying off the handle? When my son was young, I was told he had ADDS. A year or so ago, he claimed he was bi-polar. He was on meds that pretty much kept him knocked out all the time. He had no life with that at all. The doctor he was seeing didn't seem to care if it was the right med or not so he just quit taking it. I think he quit taking it about 6 months ago maybe. Well..he started to fly off the handle at us again ~Christmas (yeah..while we were going through all the emotions of Bill's mom passing away). I was just asked last night if he might have ADDS, ADHD or bi-polar. I'm beginning to think that he needs some professional help from someone who would follow-up on his care. He's 25 so he's grown and not living at home. I'm not sure really where he's living now since he has been busy alienating everyone. It would help though if I understood a little more about the disease. I had always chalked Jay's temper & attitude up to Jay being immature and wanting his own way.

Well..you all have an excellent day! The sun is suppose to shine and it get up to a balmy high 40's low 50's!

Good Morning!

I didn't sleep at all last night.  My husband is having some trouble sleeping and he kept me up.  They put him on some new meds so when he does sleep he snores really loudly.  I am use to his regular snoring but this made me want to put a pillow over his face.  He was all over the bed all night.  I had to fight with him over covers.  I feel bad for him b/c he was out of it and didn't know he was being a pain in the ass....but I'd like to get SOME sleep.

Then we were both up at 4:30.  I came to my friend's house to stay with her 3 year old while she went to have her C-section (I posted about the baby).  Everyone is healthy and happy.  I am giving her some time to nap before I take her son down to see his little sister.  I am sure it will be interesting to see how  he reacts to a new baby.  I thought I would catch a nap on their couch when I got here but the kiddo got up pretty early for me.  He ran hotwheels up and down my side until I sat up....no rest for Aunt Jenny.

This afternoon we will be going to see the baby.   I am very excited.  My husband and I have been asked to be the God parents.  The pregnancy has been hard on my friend.  I know she is glad that it is over!

Hope everyone has a good weekend and a Happy V-D!

Sherry,

We have been told that she is ADDS also, we have her  in counseling and that what started yesterday ordeal.  Tonya said something that Ashley did not like (I beleive Ashley took it out of contents) and ashley blew up, stormed out of the office etc.

We have her in a good counseling center/her doctor monitors her medicine regularly, she does adjust them if she feels they are needs, but when they do not take them, the medicines does them no good.  The ones that she takes at night does not her out, but the ones she takes in the morning is not as strong.  I also believe that she has alot of angry issues.  She will fly off the handle if someone looks at her and she does like it.  We never know, when these outburst will happen.  She can be happy one minutes and threatening to hit you, etc the next.  I am at my wits end, I do not know what else we can do.  If anyone has any suggestion, I am open to anything.

Guess I better get back to working lol.
