Update on my Sister

Here I go again doing the happy dance, God is an awesome God.  Prayers are being answered.  I got a call from my sister Stella today (some of you have meet her a while back at some of the clothing exchanges). She has been in and out of the hospital to the nursing home since July 2008. She has been pretty much bedridden this whole time.  We were talking a few weeks ago and she said that she would give anything to be able to come to Marion in April for my graduation, I told her that only her with God's help can do the rehab to possible be able to so this.

I went home at lunch to let our new puppy outside for a few minutes, Stella called me and asked me if I wanted some good news, I told her well yes, you could hear the excitement in her voice .  She told me to grab the tissues, I kept telling to come on tell me what was going on.  Finally she told me that they got her up out of bed this morning took her down for a shower, and now she was down in the dining room for lunch.  This is the first time that she has been out of that bed for months, except to go to the hospital.  I cried a happy river, I am still crying.  It would mean the world to me to have my sister there with me when I graduate.

I told her that if weather permitts that we would see about taking her outside this weekend when I come down on Saturday.  I would love to be able to take her out to get some fresh air, and push her up and down the parking lot, and I thank God that I am able to do that. 3 years ago I would not be able to hardly walk the hallway to her room, little long think about pushing a wheel chair with an addition 300+ in it.

Thanks everyone for all you prayers, and support.

Peggy
