Talked with Terry...
There's no significant changes with Lyn. They are talking about putting a trach in this week and will probably have someone come & talk with Terry about rehab facility choices (which, there aren't alot of them with his condition). They also hadn't gotten back the results yet from his last EEG. Shoot...they'll probably need a new one by the time the last one is back.
Terry did go ahead and get a long-term stay place for herself. When booking a week at a time, it's $25/night. Not too bad for a room with a fridge & shower....but I would think that in this economy, it's definately more than they had planned for, you know?
If I learn of any changes, I'll let you know. Just please keep them both in your prayers....

I would think that cash would be the best right now. It would definately come in handy with her living expences right now. Since she doesn't live around here I'm sure she doesn't bank here...so cashing a check may be difficult. someone from out of town had sent me a check, which I cashed & brought her the $ last Friday (to which, Terry was thrilled to get). If you don't plan to make a trip to the 86th street St. V's to see Terry, you can send a check to Melissa or myself and we'll be sure the money gets to her.

I didn't get to go see her this weekend. I am still nursing my cold. I feel a lot better but didn't want to risk getting her sick. How bad would that be?
I am going to try to make it down this week some time. I figure a lot of people come on the weekends so maybe during the week would be lonely. What is their last name? I will need to be able to find them....
Also, what is she keeping in the room with her? I mean, does he need snacks and whatnot? Are they keeping things cold for her? Does she have a little cooler or anything? What flavors of water does she like?
