These questions are for fun!  There are no wrong answers!  This is just to help us get to know each other a bit better.  Please jump in and answer them even if you don't post often, we want to hear from you!  That's what makes this so fun!

Todays Topic: Websites


1.  What is your favorite website to visit (besides OH)?

I love myspace.com.  I know I was not a fan in the beginning but now I love it because I keep up with my friends and family on a regular basis.  It is also cool to share my pictures and thougths on there.

2.  What website do you find most helpful to you in some way?

I think that the one I use the most lately is probably ebay.  I have been posting alot of things from around the house that I normally would have put in a garage sale.

3.  What amazing website have you found that you want to share with others?

Zenni Optical!   If you wear glasses or have family members that wear glasses this site is amazing!  You can order single vision glasses for as little as 9.99 a pair!!!  No kidding.  The most expensive ones I have seen are 29.99.        zennioptical.com
Shipping is only like 4 bucks too! 

I think this one will be fun to see what cool places everyone brings to our attention!  We all love ObesityHelp.com obviously!

1.       What is your favorite website to visit (besides OH)?

My Explorer at home comes up with 4 home pages: SparkPeople.com, Yahoo.com, ObesityHelp.com, and MySpace.com. I, as you all could guess, spend most of my time here on OH. The next would probably be MySpace…I like playing in my garden and owning my friends! LOL!

2.  What website do you find most helpful to you in some way?

There are websites that I use a lot but probably the most, Google.com. I even use it at work a lot.

Other than OH…that would have to be SparkPeople.com. I really like how much information you have access to there.

1. My favorite website (besides OH) would be a toss up between myspace and facebook.  (If anyone wants to add me...www.myspace.com/momtohjjh....last name Nguyen and my facebook is under sabrena elston nguyen . 

2. My website I probably find most useful would have to also be google....you can search for just about anything on there.

3. Website I like to share with others?  silverjewelryclub.com   you can get jewelry for 5.99, just the cose of shipping and handling.  And yes it really works, I have ordered from there myself.

Finally! A topic I can post on! 

1. Everyone knows I'm a conservative political junkie...my favorite web site for news and information is http://www.nationalreview.com, also http://www.heritage.org. I also love http://www.rushlimbaugh.com. Then of course there is my political blog, http://www.hardstarboardblog.com.

2. All of the above, OH of course, and http://www.dogpile.com. I avoid the use of Google because the owners are commie liberals.

3. All in response #1, plus http://www.monster.com if you're looking for work. I got a client in Virginia a little over a year ago when my business was slow by posting my resume on Monster.com.

1.  I would have to agree with y'all....I like myspace.com nice to be able to see pics of family and friends and to be able to keep up with their lives.

2.  I have to agree also with y'all...google is great. I use it at work for images in the bulletin and newsletter and also for powerpoint presentations.

3.  AND also I agree with Tracy about zenni optical....I have ordered glasses from there 3 times. I LOVE IT...I got 2 pair of bifocals and 1 pair of single vision glasses for $100.00!
Can't beat that with a stick!  Its so much fun to be able to change glasses to match outfits!

1.  What is your favorite website to visit (besides OH)?
soulcysters.net ...   it is a message board for women with PCOS.  I have been a member there since 2001.  It was a life saver going through fertility and all the PCOS problems.

2.  What website do you find most helpful to you in some way?
lately it has been www.thedailyplate.com  ..  Tracking my intake everyday has really opened my eyes and helped with my eating plan.  I can't deny it if I can see it. 

3.  What amazing website have you found that you want to share with others?
Probably craigslist or freecycle.   I know there is bad out there but I have had great experiences with buying and selling on craigslist.   Baby clothes, cars, bought a "new" washer/dryer last week and I love it.

Google or http://www.nws.noaa.gov/ .....the National Weather Service website.  Always more accurate than what I get from the tv or radio.

www.annualcreditreport.com

Unlike most websites that claim you can get a free copy of  your credit report this one you actually can.  In fact, you can get a free copy of your credit report from all three of the major credit reporting agencies for free.  I did it when I was denied a loan because of something that should not have been on there at all.  There is a thing that you can pay for on there for access for a year but you can pass on that and get your free copy.  You can do this once a year.

     Its GROCERYGAME.COM  even though i didnt join i read the message boards and find some really get deals on sales and coupons even recipes.

     freecycle.org   and craigslist
   with freecycle i post the things i dont need anymore and someone can use.
   with craigslist i buy more stuff i dont need.lol
