oops...almost forgot my 3 year surgi-versary!

WoW I can't believe I almost forgot today is my 3 year surgery anniversary! This time about 3 years ago I was in la la land and about 125 pounds heavier! lol looking back it has been quite a ride and I have enjoyed it all! I am thrilled to say today that I have not regained it all back. I will admit it is a daily struggle but with God's help I am making it. :-) I try to keep focus on the weight I have lost and not the few that have crept back on....lol fortunately...the new ones filled in the right places and I can't say I am unhappy about them just really concious of what I am eating and trying to make better, smarter, healthier choices. It is amazing the changes that have taken place in such a short time. Going from the top end sizes 32/34 to 14/16~18/20's has been such fun! In the beginning I was all about the size tag now...I am wearing a range that is all about the look!  I love shopping at the low end of the plus size and being so tall I am finding so many new things that look good on me. I am about over this winter weather and am soooo ready for spring and getting back into the summer clothes...lol That is when my inner Goddess really shines thru. my goal this year is to lose 15~20 pounds and keep improving and being the best that I can be. Life is good and I am so blessed!

Oh hon, you have done wonderful! I remember meeting you and seeing your excitement at having your surgery & look- three yrs. later, you are definately a Goddess!!! You have blessed my life in so many ways!! You know, you never did give me your height- whats up with that?!Hahahaha 
Remember going to clothing exchanges & finding out you needed 2-3 sizes smaller?  Remember all the laughter & good times we have had together- I miss you, can you tell?!
I know you are so busy with job, family, & life in general, but you always try to give encouragement & support. I just wanted to let you know how special I feel you are, . Take time to reflect on the past & look to the future full of possibilities. Life truely is good & we are blessed to have our "family" here.

Isn't it funny how quickly the post-op time flies by? I think you have done fantastic and I know you have to look & feel wonderful. I remember you pre-op and I thought then 'wow, that is one beautiful woman'..then when I got to know you, I was just as equally impressed at how beautiful you are inside. No matter what size you are/have been, you are one very classy lady! Yes, I AM secure enough in my feminitity to compliment another woman on her looks! LOL! I am so very glad to be able to call you my friend.

congrats on this very special anniversary. I hope you & Jon do something special together to celebrate it. Umm..something that is made alot easier with 125 lb less!
