Being submitted to insurance

So, I went for my 3rd and final supervised weight loss visit, met with psych and lastly met again for the final time with Dr. Mattar and was cleared by all to go ahead and get my submitted to insurance and schedule me for my preop tests so now I am in the wait.  Dr. Mattar told me that Clarian Employees aren't usually denied so hopefully that will be the case.  My BMI is 41.6 and I met Anthem's requirements, so hoping I run into no problems.  I am to be called by Wednesday of next week by Clarian North to schedule my preop tests....labs, ekg, chest xray, pulmonary function tests but no upper GI, which I am VERY glad about.  I am also very proud to say that I lost 26.4 pounds on Dr. Mattar's liver reduction diet and so now my current weight is 209.6, my personal goal at this point is to get as close down to 200 as I can to make my surgery that much easier.  Dr. Mattar thanked me for losing that weight (his goal was 20 pounds).  So, please keep me in your thoughts as I anxiously await for approval!

Congrats on the loss, and getting your Ins. stuff in! I will keep my fingers crossed & prayers going for you. Before long you'll have it all those tests done,(UGH) & be on your way to surgery! Keep us posted!

Thank you both!  I appreciate the cheerleading on my behalf.  I am on pins and needles now with the dreaded wait.
