Just spoke with Terry

Felt bad as I woke her up, but she said that Lyn has opened his eyes. The nurse told her it could just be a reflex. But when someone specifically asked him to open his eyes, he did. In the nursing world that is called following commands and seems like a positve sign to me. She's exhausted and trying to get some rest. Her family all left the hospital and she will now be alone. Please continue to pray for positive signs from Lyn and that things will continue to improve.  I will continue to post updates as I can.

Fantastic!!  I was going to call her earlier, but I saw that she had posted, and was going to see if the test results were in, so I held off.

If she's trying to rest, I'll wait and call her tomorrow.  She needs her rest.

It's great to get some good news!

I know they dont want to promise her anything because its too soon to tell.  But I see it as a positive thing that he obviously is hearing them and responding to their commands.  We will take it as a good sign and pray for more.

Thanks so much Melissa! All our best to Terry!

Huge hugs,
Tracy

Thanks Melissa! I think maybe Joe and I will head that way after I get off work tomorrow. Do you know if she took a robe, slippers, anything of the nature?

Let me know.

Connie, I don't know if she has a robe or slippers with her. Everytime I see her she's in clothes and socks. I'm sure she'll be glad to see you.

Michelle,
Oh I agree,, any progress is progress! I can only imagine how happy she felt to see him react--to anything. There is something about your voice & touch that is a healing balm. I am keeping her& Lyn in my prayers. I am going to try to call her tomorrow. Please let her know she isn't alone- we are all surrounding her with our prayers & love.
