Update from Terry

Just got off the phone with Terry. She's very frustrated because they have decided not to turn off the paralyti****il tomorrow. They want his body temp stable x 24 hours before they do. This means no answers yet and understandably Terry is upset. She understands they are doing what Lyn needs and what is best for him, but she just wants to know if/when Lyn will wake up.

She is trying to figure out what to do next. Her family wants her to go home as they feel she can't be sleeping in the recliners in the lounges. She doesn't want to leave the hospital. I have encouraged her to talk with the social workers about seeing if they can get her  free/reduced price at the hotel that the hospital owns/works with. If anyone lives very close to the hospital on 86th street and is willing to put Terry up, please let me know.

Keep them in your prayers and I'm sure she's appreciate visits from anyone.

Melissa, thanks for the update.  I can understand why she doesn't want to leave the hospital.  I wouldn't want to either.    My heart aches for her.

Melissa thanks again.  I am so glad you can update us.  I was planning on visiting with her tomorrow thinking today she might get more visitors since others are off work.  I may change my plans for that and go today after all.

I am too far away to offer her a room.  I will pray that someone can provide one for her though.

I am at 56th and RaceWay, only about 20min from the hospital.  she can stay with us if needed.  I work at 86th street and can drive her in to the hospital if needed.  email is [email protected]

I should be able to get her a hotel for $39.00 a night if she wants let me know
