I forgot they won't pay for the dietician, which is stupid.  I was hoping I stumbled on the answer.

Good morning!

I am off in a few minutes to pick up a girlfriend for breakfast & shopping. We are going to LaPeep's. Always wanted to go there pre WLS. I hope I will make good food choices. I am once AGAIN  trying to get back on track. At nearly 41/2 years out every day is a struggle for me.

I am praying for some good news on Lyn. I recall how tough it is for your hubby to be in this state, I almost lost mine twice last year. Boy is it rough!

Have a great day, I plan to. Jana

Good morning everyone!

For a change, I slept until 6:40 and only got up 1 time durring the night! Woo-hoo. So far, my sugar levels haven't dropped today yet but I just had breakfast so I'll be watching out for that soon. Still no improvements with the shots yet. I just measured my tummy...39"...and it's only 8:30 in the morning! I did learn that Dr. Gupta & Dr. Wittles talked yesterday. Their big plan? Wait until I get done with the shots and then talk again. So...Monday...? I'll be doing the last one tomorrow night. I don't know if there is a delayed reaction that they are waiting for or what. After doing 3 of the 5 though, there has been NO improvement in ANYTHING. So...we'll wait and see.

Another rep from Unique is suppose to be here ~10 or 11...I don't remember which one Bill said. They send out a 2nd person to remeasure everything & double-check that they have the colors right, etc. That's a good policy to me. I definately believe in 'measure twice, cut once'. Since there will be paperwork to initial & sign (and Bill's not able to right now), I have to pretty much wait until Unique is done & gone to get on with the rest of my day. We already signed all the paperwork the other night for the siding, gutters, shutters, etc. Because of the type of gutters we're getting, we'll also be going through them for the roof. But hey...there's a lifetime guarantee on all of it....the structure's lifetime, not ours. And if we sell the house, that guarantee is passed on to the new owners so I'd call that a pretty good buying initiative.

After that, I plan to drive over & see Terry. I think it'd be good for her if she could put my face with my name...maybe it'd make it more comfortable for her to call me if/when she needs someone to talk to. I know that helps me out alot.

While I'm gone, Jay may come over & use my pc to put a cd on his iPod.  Also, Bill is going to see if some old friends of his wants to meet us for dinner tonight at Four Seasons. So...full day planned.

Well..I better get off of here & get some other stuff done. Have a good day everyone!

hugs,
Sherri

Morning all, just eating a bite then I'm heading to bed. I am so happy that Lyn is in our hospital and that I can support and help Terry with anything she needs. God works in mysterious ways and I find it amazing that Terry and I just met 6 weeks ago when she visited my in the hospital after my surgery. We have become quick friends and I'm honored to be able to do any and all that I can for her. Gonna sleep the day away then head back to the hospital for more fun. Have a good day all.

Good morning all!

I finally woke up at 8 am!  I can't believe I slept that long.  I guess I was wiped out from working out with Marc last night.  It felt good to get up and get my body working.  I have been too busy and too LAZY to exercise like I should.  I am not making any more excuses.  I am going to force myself to get back into the swing of things.

IT'S SUPERBOWL WEEKEND!  Woohoo!  I am drinking my juice this morning and watching the NFL Channel.  I will have it on most all weekend.  Monday will be hard for me  LOL  (football depression!)  I am excited about tomorrow at church.  It has been declared NFL jersey day by our Pastor.  So we are all going in our favorite jersey and jeans!  I got a new Marvin Harrison jersey for Christmas because my Joseph Addai jersey is a tent on me now.

I am going to venture over to check on Dad today.  His minature Chihuahua male has fathered two litters of babies with his rat terrier females.  Both were born on Wednesday night.  So he has 6 tiny babies.  I can't wait to see them.  He already has 3 of the sold.  They should be about 6 lbs when full grown.  I would love to have a "pocket pet" but don't need one.  So, I will just love on them while I can.   They are sooo darn cute.

I was supposed to go to Lucas Oil for the welcome home ceremony for the soldiers but Ash has to work and so does Marc and I didnt want to go alone.  So, I will just have to see it on the news tonight.  I am truly so grateful to all the families and soldiers for their sacrifices they have made over the past year to serve our country.

I have also set aside prayer time scheduled for Lyn.  I did this yesterday as well.  My heart aches for Terry.  When I talked to her, she sounded so worn out.  I can only imagine how she feels.  Please pray for them often!

Huge hugs,
Tracy

Tracy, Terry is obviously physically and emotionally exhausted. My hope is that she got a decent night sleep and will feel at least a bit more well rested today. Keep praying.

Good morning fellow Hoosier Losers!

I am up a bit early!

I had Lyn and Terry on my mind and set the alarm early to check on an update! I am continuing with my thoughts and prayers for them as well as their families through this difficult time, as all of us are!

I have been working ALOT lately! We had a very large inspection yesterday that we have been getting ready for! We have ALOT of work left to do, after the final results! I have been working both days and nights, and I am just not used to the night schedule, yet! It is getting easier, and I am just happy to be able to be working!

I did have a followup yesterday with my eye surgeon, he released me from HIS care! BUT I do have some vision issues going on, and he now has referred me to a retina specialist, as he says that I have a hole in the back of my retina! This, he believes is why I am having so much trouble with driving at night! I do not have the date, time, or doc's name for the referral yet- awaiting a phone call back from their office!

I hope that everyone has a great day!

Please keep those prayers coming for Terry and LYN, we seem to be doing pretty good with our praises from all of our prayers! May God above keep hearing and healing for those of us that we continue to keep in prayer!

Hugz Dawn

Well, I'm late to the party today! Worked this morning, went to Meijer for groceries this afternoon. Made dinner for Mark and Johnathan (my son). I had a leftover piece of pizza for lunch, and just had a dollop of mashed potatoes for dinner. Just not hungry today.

I have to run over to K-Mart in a little while to get a new coffeemaker, ours gave up the ghost today. Mark would croak without his coffee in the morning!

Not much more to report...have a great evening, everyone!
