Prayers needed: Lyn

Terry just called..understandably, very upset. Lyn coded this morning shortly after 5. His heart had quit beating for 20 minutes before they were able to get it started again. He was immediately vented and they began the process to transport him to 86th street St. Vincent's. They have the equipment there to lower the body temp to minimize damage to his brain while they work on getting him stabalized. It is unknown at this time how much damage was caused by those 20 minutes, if any (there ARE miracles!).

Terry asked me to post on the board. She is by herself up there right now. Their family went home when he stabalized from the O2 scare but they are on their way back to Indy now..but a few hours away yet.

Bill & I have comittments to keep today or I would head up there. If you are up in the Carmel area and would be able to go be with Terry until her family arrives, please call me at 317-446-8423 and I'll give you the # to reach her at...or you could just drive to 86th St. V's to meet her. I hate the idea of her being alone right now so I am sincerely hoping that one of you can make it there. I am going to give Terry a call when we get back from all that we have to do today. If her family have not arrived for any reason by then, I will head to the hospital to be with her.

In the meantime everyone, please pray that God's will be done for Lyn and that he give's Terry the strength to get through this period.

I work at 86th street tonight and will go early to see them. Anyone know their last name so I can look them up when I get here? I will continue to keep them in my prayers!

I will continue to keep them my prayers.  I wish I was scheduled to work today since he is going to be at 86th, cuz then I could check on them throught out the day.

C'mon OH prayer warriors!!! Lets rally around our family member!!  Let them know we are thinking about them and praying for them.

Im so sorry that she is there by herself wish i lived closer.
