TGIF!

Good Morning All....

This week has been a blur.....
My daycare kids have all had the flu.....
Lets see....Monday i did not go to Curves...I sat and watched my son at his TaeKwonDo class...he got another stripe on his belt.  He was super happy.  Tuesday morning Lexi, daughter woke up to say she didn't feel well.  So no school for her, I really think she was just tired, but sometimes they need a day like that.  Wednesday school was cancelled, house full of sick kids.  My DH went to Owensboro KY to work storm duty for the Utilities.  Didn't make it to Curves.....I cannot stand this Indiana weather, ready for Spring!!!!!  Thursday brought a normal school day, or so I thought.  The wind was causing drifting so they dismissed early.  Had the kids get off the bus to tell me that one daycare and my daughter were both sick on the bus.  Lexi was supposed to have a dental appointment this morning.....so I told her to go rest...she swore she wasn't sick, the smell just made her do it.  So she is asleep by 3 and slept all night, only to wake at 8 throwing up.  Definitely sick.  Schools delays last night for today.  Now what do i do about the dental appointment.  So I decide with her not feeling well to cancel and reschedule.  Everyone was in bed early....I never sleep well with DH gone, so I took half a dose of Nyquil.  Wake up today and they cancel school!!!!!  Come on Cruise!!!!!!!
So lots of Lysol around my house.
Did 2 loads of laundry....off to take a warm shower and deal with my winter blues.
Tomorrow morning Lexi has to cheer for a Upwards ballgame, then off to Lafayette with my Mom for some shopping.  Sunday brings church and have to bartend at the Moose to cover my DH shift for the SuperBowl Party....should be a good day for tips!!!!

Good morning everyone
No school again today,and finally Neil gets to come home tonight,he has been gone since Monday morning..
My heart is breaking for Terry and the thought of her being alone,i pray he gets better and for her to be strong.
Sherri be careful with your sugars dropping,i hate that feeling that comes with it and thanks for being such a strong support for all of us..
Kimmy ,Gail and Brenda please get better.
Tracy be careful on the roads.
Leah no matter how old they get they are still our babies.

  Wow, I am just now getting caught up on some posts.....What a crazy week. LOL ( get it!) Well I hope all you fine,beautiful, Gorgeous happy people have a great super bowl weekend! I am off! Don't know what to do with myself with 2 days off this week. I work tonight at 3...I was hoping to get my hair done before I go into work, we will see if I have time. I need something, I don't know what yea...but something.

SHerri....Ohhh new siding and windows, That guy on the TV cracks me up with his sweaters that he wears. Reminds me of Bil Cosbys sweaters. And he always has a cup of coffee  in his hand. Hope you start to see improvement soon. Stay warm.

I just want to say one thing and then I am gonna let it go, but I can't not say something......
For all of you haters out there, we don't come on here to here your wacked out crap...I speak for myself when I say...I come on this board to get support and help and share posititve vibes with fellow friends who all have something in common with me. NOT to spew hatred and viciousness, save that for another board! we don't want that crap here.

Okay excpet for my cat who is the Devil reincarnated. LOL I did by her a tunnel last night to play in, so far no go with it! I think she thinks its too above her. LOL The dog however is jealous that Venus got a new toy and not her! LOL

Man last night I had gas, like you wouldn't believe. i ahd to run to walgreens while at work and get some phasyme and gas x strips. I was blowing thos poor kids away! IT WAS BAD!!!!! ( sorry, I know tmi but I just had to share!)

I miss everyone, I feel like we need to get something organized soon, It has been a whole 2 weeks since I have seen some of my BUDDIES! Whats coming up next for us! OOHH!!! Robin, did you have plans on sunday? ANyone want to get together for superbowl sunday somewhere! I need to get going, lots to do before work.

Hey there everybody! Just jumpin' on here at lunchtime to see what you are all up to!

The county roads around here are still really bad, my rural  carriers are having an awful time getting to mailboxes. Some are just impossible, they are either completely buried or knocked off the posts. That makes me real busy in the afternoon after they get back handing out mail to people.  Oh well...service is all we have to sell!

Went to Smokey Bones last night to have dinner with the kids and Emily's boyfriend...I really like him. He's from a military family and is really polite and respectful. I had a stacked baked potato and a salad, but couldn't really eat much. The potato had pulled pork in it so I ate mostly that. It was good! I'm sleepy today...didn't get home until 9:30 or so and didn't get to bed until after 10:00, that is really late for me. Five hours of sleep just isn't quite enough!

The sun is shining right now, so maybe we won't get any more snow after all. Wishful thinking! Funny how much less you like it as you get older!

Tonight is pizza night - yippee! I love my one slice of pizza on Fridays!
