TGIMF!

(thank God it's MY Friday!!)

Good morning everyone!

We had a 'late' night last night. Jay came over and shoveled us out. Bill started doing it yesterday and after he did a little bit, he decided that with a foot or so of wet, heavy snow that it needed someone a little bit younger than himself. I was very relieved when he called Jay to do it. By the time Jay got done, we took him home, and then stopped & ate, when we got home it was after 9. This new med (the shot) has to sit out of the fridge for 30 minutes before you use it so that put me getting to bed at 10. I'm usually 8-8:30. So...3:30 came WAY to early this morning!

I did get that med yesterday & did my first shot last night. They only called it in for 5 days. Hmmm...do they REALLY think this could work and me be able to wear my jeans by Monday??? One can dream, huh?

Gail...good luck at the dentist this morning! I hope they get you in ASAP anyway! Let me know how it goes. I didn't call on my way home last night because I knew your mouth was hurting you.

Brenda....I hope you are feeling better today. I am so sorry that I made to talk yesterday. I know how bad coughing can hurt..and since talking aggrevated your throat and made you cough...I had sympathy pains for you.

Terry...Please give Lyn out best wishes today... (group hug!). Call me whenever..ok? Bill is having Unique come over at 5 tonight to give an estimate for siding and then tomorrow afternoon he has us booked too (we may be taking some pc certification courses together). Other than that, I'm free between tonight & Monday morning.

Kim...Have a beautiful day!

Ellen....miss you!

Tracy....I hope you get the  soon that you got the job!

You all take care of yourselves...and each other.

Huggs...

Hey good morning all!

I am up and started my day as Taxi Mom.  First it was take Ash to work.  Mustangs dont go in 7 inches of snow.  LOL  For once I can say they envied me having the mini van over a hot red sports car.     All the sudden, my ride is the cool one.

I will be running all day.  The kids have a 2hr. delay so off to the school with them at 930 then I am hoping that Kim's trip to her doc this morning is good news.  I told her I will take her since she is running a fever of 104 from the infection in her forehead last night.  I pray so much that the IV and meds they gave her last night kicks its butt. Otherwise, I will be taking her to Indy to her specialist and she might have to stay.  I hope not!

Then at 1 its Marc to work.... at 330 Ash from work, Kel from school, Chaz to the apartment....

Tyler from the skating party at 530, dinner at 6, basketball at 7!  oh, then pick up Marc at 10 (he might wanna come home tonight  doh!)

Gosh I am worn out already.  LOL

So, my plans today... just driving around in circles.  I cant wait to get a job so I can get my truck fixed!

Hope you all have a safe, warm day and that the weather is better where you are.

Pray for Kim lots today please!!

Huge hugs,
Tracy

Good morning all! I am braving it out to Carmel today. It's my 2 year check up (a little late) with Dr. Inman and the dieticians. I hope I won't have disappointed them. I have maintained my personal goal of weight, but they never really gave me a doctor's goal. So I don't know if I've done well or not. Also I haven't been exercising like I should, with my crazy work schedule. But I do the best I can. It'll just have to do.

I have been dealing with some issues in my counseling relating to my weight and food issues. I won't say everyone of us, because blanket statements are usually never accurate, but I would say many of us probably could use some guidance to get through this process successfully. I just want to say, if you are having a hard time with it, don't be afriad ot admit it or ashamed to ask for some help. There's no shame in taking care of yourself.

Good Morning my fellow Hoosier Losers.  We finally got our cars dug out at about 4:30 yesterday afternoon.  I got the tube out and hubby blew it up for me then I got scared to go lol.  It wasn't the sliding part that scared me it was the stopping part.  My son is on a two hour delay this morning so as soon as he leave I will run over to the hospital lab for my draw so that Dr Mandelbaum has my results by my Feb 12th appointment.  I want to hurry and get it done so I can have a cup of decaf.

Linda I so hear you about the food issues, I been having many of my own.  I think it is making me depressed too..all I want to do is sleep.  I don't know if it is the food and feeling like I let myself down and feeling out of control or this weather but I am sick of sleeping my life away.  I have found a million excuses not to exercise this past week too and that isn't helping, I always feel so much better after just 30 mins on the treadmill.  I am going to buy myself a treadmill come hell or high water very soon because I really enjoy the one at the Y but the Y is a busy place and one is not always available when I go there.

Hope you all have a great day, peace and love to you all.

Good chilly morning folks. Brrr.... Emotionally I've not been feeling real well lately and I have to go see my therapist today. I PRAY we can get ahold of my psych doc to try and mess with my meds to maybe get me some relief. I'm also praying they can do it on an out patient basis.

Praying for everyone under the weather and not feeling well!!

good beautiful thursday morning all!
Wasn't yesterday amazing. I went out with Tyler and shoveled the driveway for an hour. I have never done that before surgery. It felt awesome, and of course my shoulder is a little sore but thats okay. I think Dh was happy he didn't have to come home and do it since he had been outside all day the facility plowing with a backhoe (sp) and was completely exhausted.
Then the kids and I ran over to walmart and went grocery shopping. Then back home and fixed an amazing pot of chili. HMMMM
I didn't have to go into work because we were closed for the day. which really sucks for my finances but it kind of felt good becasue I work 6 days a week and the last time I had 2 days off was Christmas.
Sounds like everyone is hanging in there. I feel like I am out of the loop because I don't get on here very much. I need my internet back, GRRRR I am going to the Clarian SG tommorrow morning and I know Jana will be there. Hope to see some familiar faces there.Have agreat Thursday....

Good Morning fellow snowy Hoosiers!  Well, my house is very quiet today!  It's just me and my 17 yr old daughter at home.  My 3 boys went with their dad to work so the house is all ours.  We are going to work on her FASFA and then watch a movie.  Im also making a liver reduction friendly chili recipe for lunch.  Dr. Mattar's office called me today and my appts will play out like this....tomorrow is my follow up from my gallbladder removal and while I am there they will have the dietician come in and see me so that can count as my 2nd official weigh in and then I come back Feb 11th for my 3rd SWL and Feb 12th for my psych appt.  After that I can get submitted to insurance.  Nancy tells me that as a Clarian Employee our insurance is pretty good and they tend to move us through a little faster so surgery day will be here before I know it.  Anyway, hope everyone else has a great day and stay safe if you are out driving!

Hi everybody!

Taking a break at work to get on and say howdy! I'm happy this morning...finally made it to 120 lbs. lost! Boy, I was happy when I saw that number this morning. I've been in a snacky/carby mode lately, but I guess I've kept it under control enough that I'm still losing. I've slowed to 1 1/2 to 2 lbs. per week, but I'm happy with that. It's steady at least.

Tonight we're going over to meet  my two Wright State kids for dinner. I miss them! We're going to meet at the Smokey Bones at the 75 exit. I've never been there, but as you all know when we go out to eat we go for the company, not to pig out! I refuse to take a chance on getting something stuck and not being able to enjoy the evening. I'll stick with soup or a baked potato or something. Salad usually sits pretty well with me, too.

My rural carriers are having an awful time on the country roads today. The snow is blowing and it's almost as bad for them as yesterday was. They'll get everything delivered that they can, but some mailboxes are completely buried in snow. My auxiliary carrier just had to go and get another carrier un-stuck, but she's on her way again. She'll be exhausted when she gets in here from leaning way out to get to the boxes and service them.

Sherri, I am so glad to see someone else goes to bed as early as I do! As you know, when you get up at 3:00 a.m., ya gotta get to bed early! I usually go back to the bedroom at about 7:30-7:45 and read for a while first.

Well, breaktime's over. Hope everyone has a great day!
