Guess what I did today!!??

I think I had a WOW moment. I shoveled 1/2 my driveway, my sidewalk, and my back patio and porch. I never would have had the stamina to do that 6 weeks ago. I also played outside in the snow with my son and plan on going out again after the baby wakes up!

BTW, I only shoveled 1/2 my driveway because I wanted my husband to be able to get home and I have nowhere to be.

Good for you Melissa!!  I haven't done diddly.  I've been sick since yesterday afternoon - I think it's a head cold.  Low grade fever, sneezing, runny nose, congestion and sore throat.  Ugh.

When I went back to work last week, everyone was hugging on me, and I think they gave up some cooties while they were at it.  I've been hitting Tylenol.  I'm just glad that my office was closed today....!

I did a little shoveling too! I would have continue when I was heaver just because I am a LEO which means I am stubborn!! LOL!! I was lucky in the fact a man with that big tractor was doing the neighbor ladies drive while I was starting mine. He finished most of the drive for me but I had to do a path over to the neighbors house cause I have to let their dogs out and feed them and the cats. I have to go back after dark so I wanted a path to keep from falling on my BUTT!! Which would be a funny sight! But it would not feel so funny I would bet!
I am glad that you shoveled and got to play with your children in the snow! I bet the kids were glad too! Have a great evening! Hope both of our backs will be fine later too! Michelle

I am so proud of you!  You kicked butt on that snow.  I know how good you feel about it too.  You should celebrate your Wow moment with a SF popsicle!  LOL  You will be amazed by summer when you are able to run with the boys and play in the park.  You are so small people will think you are one of the kids!!!

Great job!  Keep up the good work!

Huge hugs,
Tracy

Thanks Tracy. My mom was cracking up when I called her all excited. I even played outside in the snow with the boys twice. This is what I was wanting. My kids see the change in me and Joshua was cracking up as I was chasing him around the back yard in 10" snow trying to knock him down! This is so worth everything that I've gone through!!

Congrats Melissa!  I was right out there with ya yesterday shoveling snow.  We had 12+ inches here and I shoveled the entire driveway and sidewalk.  My arms were so sore afterward, but I wasn't ready to pass out so that is a HUGE improvement from how I would have been last year.
