psych appt and 2nd nut visit cancelled due to snow...question?

Ok....so I go to Clarian Bariatrics, and obviously because of the snow they cancelled clinic today and so no one is there.  I got a call on my cell phone sometime before 730am and they left me a voicemail cancelling so I didn't actually get to talk to anyone.  This was to be my 2nd weigh in, first was December 15th, so now I probably won't get rescheduled til the first week of Feb.  I now have no official nut visit for Jan.  The only weight they have recorded is from Jan 4th when I went to see Dr. Mattar for my gallbladder where I was down 10 pounds.  My insurance does not require SWL, only Dr. Mattar does and I was told they are looking for 3 calendar months....Dec,Jan,Feb and then hopefully surgery would be in March.  Does anyone think that because of the weather I will now have to weigh in Feb and again in March so surgery would ultimately get pushed back a month?  I know ultimately I need to ask them but since they are closed I can't and so now I am stressed a little.  Also, I am frustrated because I was to have a f/u appt with Dr. Mattar on Friday for my postop gallbladder appt and I found out last nite that he is out of the country until Monday and no one from his office has called to tell me I need to reschedule this appt.  I found out from a co-worker who also goes there. 

Anyone think they may count my Jan 4th weight as a January weigh in since the cancellation is out of my control today?

My bet is that the Jan 4th weigh-in will count.  Also, If your Friday appt has not been resceduled (maybe his assistant will conduct the folow up), it should count also.  Don't let the stress get to you.

the jan should count..thier office is pretty good on getting everythang strationed out...has he sent you to clarien north for your blood work and chest xray and briething test yet . and to see the hospitalist? that will come too right before surgery...just keep on talking to the staff..nancy really is good to go thur...good luck

Thank you for your responses!  So, I decided to email Nancy, Dr. Mattar's secretary, and she emailed me back:)  Anyway, they are going to have the physician assistant see me Friday afternoon for my post-op appt and then have the nutritionist come in and see me to make my weigh in that day "official" so I will stay on track.  When I come in for my 3rd weigh in they will reschedule my psych appt for that day, after that I should be able to be submitted to insurance.   Thanks again, next time I will know that I can email Nancy and she promptly replies!

Don't stress,
They will get verything done for you. They actually moved up my surgery when Dr. Mattar was going to Egypt. Woo hoo. Then He ended up not going because his wife became ill.I was looking at may last year ended up april. So they will get it all in for you don't worry. I did all my preop testing 2 weeks before I was even scheduled for surgery. Good luck shanna
