How the weather at your house?

It is beautiful outside and i love watching the snow fall.
It looks clean and pure after it snows.
Neil wont be home til the weather changes,he is staying at work and the roads are so bad and we live up on the hill so Joey isnt going to work either.
I know we have 5-6 inches of snow and now ice and they say tomorrow 3-5 more.
So whats it like at your place?

We started getting snow around 2:30 but none last night.  We maybe have an inch but it is very slippery out there.  I am zoning out.  I am trying to remember being in Honduras snorkeling and not even thinking about this icky snow.

Lisa, Make a huge pot of chilli for the boys and play board games.  That is my favorite thing to do in your case.

Where do you live????  It sounds terrible-- I mean--beautiful, if you don't have to drive.  It has been snowing since around 4:00 here--Fort Wayne--they are calling for 2-5 inches.  Nothing like what you have.  Be careful and stay warm !!

i agree..terrible...lol.....i hate driving it this white stuff...i am glad we didn't get any earlier...but its gettin kinda yucky now outside...everyone be careful! and stay warm....

I drove home in this crap! Wow it was bad until I got to Alex and till I got west of Tipton then it was coming down like crazy!! Hope everyone down south has it better than the weather people say. Keep safe and stay in unless you have to get out! Take care and just go slow if you have to get out! Michelle
P.S. took me over 2 hours to get home and 69 was a ****ty mess for an interstate.

Never mind, can't get to work.  My car is stuck in the driveway and is blocking hubby's truck too.  Don't think I will be going to work today.

Took me over an hour to get to work today and I only live 20 miles from here.  Normally a 20 min drive...  wish I was home in my jammies still

I got dressed and put makeup on lol.  However, I definately put my jammies back on and went back to bed.  I just woke up and it is almost 9 am....that is really sleeping in for me.  I must say it felt good too.  My car is stuck sideways in the driveway, hubby is digging and digging without much luck so far.  My dad has a 4wheel drive so he will come help when I call him, trying to let him sleep in too.  Its still snowing here and has probably snowed another 3 inches since hubby got the car stuck.  I am greatful it was him that got it stuck and not me lol.  I am scheduled to be off work tomorrow then work Friday and off Sat and Sun so I am gonna make the best of it and enjoy my family.  I would love to try sledding, I haven't been since I was a child and last year for xmas I got my son a big blow up snow tube so hubby said he would blow it up for me later with the air compressor.  I will get pictures if we actually do it lol.
