Good morning everyone!

I'm starting my day off with a headache. It's not a migraine so hopefully I can get rid of it soon. I took some tylenol before I left the house, but I'm still waiting. I may need to take a few more soon. Anyway, it's 5:30 and I've been at work for 45 minutes already. I sure hope the day goes by quick. I didn't sleep very well last night...which is probably why I have the headache.

I ended up working for 8 hours yesterday. I got everything done that I wanted to get done without any major problems..and only 1 minor one. So...IT is going to be busy this morning! I'll do the other 13 instruments Tuesday afternoon/Wednesday morning. And then all of our firmware (like software only it operates our instrumentation) will be complete. The next step will be getting ready for the Empower 3...so a few method changes to ALOT of methods. We get that upgrade on Feb. 25th. After that, I will be free to go on vacation, medical leave (should they get a solution to fixing my belly), etc.

Well..you all have a good day today. I'm hoping I get a call or two from my doctors nurses.

huggs...

Sherri

Good Morning my friends!  Where did the weekend go?  Seems like I just left work and here I am back again.  Got the coffee on, now to get settled in before I tackle the paperwork.

Wasn’t that snow pretty yesterday?  And just enough.  I’m not looking forward to what they are calling for starting tonight.  The weather people say we are way below normal for winter snowfall, but for me that is just fine.  Of course Ashley would love a big snow so she can get the sleds out.  Joe bought the both of them the old fashioned wooden sleds at a garage sale so she’s been waiting for snow to try them out.

Going to make it a short week this week.  Do four 10’s so I can have Friday off.  I do look forward to them.  I figure if I can take every other Friday and Saturday off I can manage the OT the rest of the time.

Does anyone know where I can get a good haircut?  I’ve tried several places, but no one listens to what I want.  I’m old fashioned and just like a nice layered cut.  I’ve always ended up with chopped up mess.  My niece was doing my hair, but with her parent’s medical conditions (Noel and Nan) and having so many problems she quit the salon to be available for them.  She felt bad about always having to cancel her clients when she got called away.

Going by after work to visit with Nan.  I went by on Saturday to see her.  She is so much happier at the new facility.  Said they are good to her there and take care of her.  The therapist is working at getting her upright so she can at least stand and pivot in to a wheel chair.  They would like to be able to take her out once in a while and if she can stand and pivot she could also do it to get in a car and go for a ride.

Sherri, hope you get the call soon.  Keep us posted.

Guess I better go and get to work.  Coffee is probably ready by now so I’ll grab a cup and jump in.  I hope everyone has a great day.

When I want a special cut I go to Roberts in Greenwood on Fry Rd. You can go to their online site Robertsdaysalon.com and check out different styles print the picture and say I want that... I am thinking aobut making an appointment to get a perm. although my hair is natural curly.. it is also getting very thin.. not really a biotin problem it gets thin in my family.. sigh.. I just didnt get moms thick hair.

Today is Craft day for the triplets.. they come to my house and grandma does a lesson and a craft with them.. Melissa is home schooling since we cant convince the teachers 2 trips to the hospital in an ambulance for peanut allergies is 2 trips to many..Poor baby now asks grandma and everyone if it has peanuts in it before she puts anything in her mouth.. kids shouldnt have to be afraid of the adults in charge of them is going to posion them..

Cant wait to see the snow coming... then it can just scrape off the road and be beautiful in my yard...

Hello all! I hope you're going to have a good Monday. I was actually up on time for once today. Hehe. Ready to get out the door on time, just have to make sure the kiddos are on schedule with me.

Not too much interesting going on today. Just work. I am a bit annoyed at my sister though. Our mother's birthday is February 21st. She sent me an email saying she wanted to 'have it' on the 14th or 7th. For her convenience. I had already requested the 21st off from work. The 14th is not an option. That's Valentine's Day, and I always spend it with my husband. Sigh.

Just a quick hello before I leave to go to the Heart Institute on North Meridian. A step cousin of mine called yesterday and said she was having 3 stents put in today. I didn't tell her I would be there because I wasn't sure at the time. I also don't know how many will be there since I don't have the latest info on which sister isn't talking to whom. I guess if there is alot in the waiting room it will be more for me to talk to. Well ya'all have a good day! Michelle

Good Monday Morning fellow Hoosier Losers!  I am off work today, just got my son and hubby out the door for work and school.  I am working to get my laundry caught up, its all sorted and started, I have six loads this week..thats a lot for us three.  One load is all towels and one is jeans so it will be easier than it sounds.  Then off to the grocery store, silly me I should have went yesterday when help was here to unload the stuff, but I just couldn't make myself go after working yesterday.  We were really busy yesterday and I worked hard.  IU had a game so we were packed with regulars and IU fans.  I also will go to the Y today, I only went twice last week so I have to do better  about getting there this week.  I am hoping to buy a treadmill with our tax return I would love to find one used..anyone have one they would like to sale?

Thats about it for me today, peace and love to you all.

Good morning all!

I am up and ready to take on the day whatever it may bring.  I am probably gonna spend most of it doing laundry.  I think my kids change clothes 4 times a day!  LOL  At least they are clean, so I shouldn't complain.

I am also going to get out my accounting book and look at some terminology for tomorrow.  You never know what they will throw at you in an interview.

I am also hoping to get some KIM time today.  I need to get some stuff done with her.

Hope everyone has a great day and work is easy for all of you.

Huge hugs,
Tracy

Hello there OH Family!!  Hope everyone has a great week coming up. I am sitting here with my protein shake and a banana. Trying to keep warm. It is just so funny how cold I get now.
I am so envious of all of you who are able to be out and working. I feel so lost without being able to work. I love being productive and feel like such a burden. I spent most of the weekend in tears with my leg pain. Some days it is just so bad. I fight to hide that I am hurting from my family. But they know when I get too quiet that something is up with me. I have always worked and this is really doing a number on my mind. Dealing with chronic pain wears on the mind. I can't remember details or things I am supposed to. I am afraid of driving too. I can be driving and completely forget where I am heading. I just keep being told to have patience. That this injury takes time to heal. And that the pain means the nerves are firing still and that means they might be trying to heal also. I try to think of it that way to be positive. I want so badly to be "normal" again. To walk without a brace. I should be using the cane most of the time. But I forget where I leave it alot. I have left it at walmart a few times! Anyway... enough of that.
I have good days and bad days and there are alot of others much worse off than me.
My step Mom is doing better recovering from her oral surgery fiasco. Poor thing is due to have her gallbladder removed tomorrow. So she will be really out of it then. Bless her heart!
I hope everyone knows how much I appreciate being able to be a part of this group. Just being able to connect with you all is such a privilege. Such great support and encouragement.
Everyone have a great day!
Blessings to you all, Leah
