i dont usually do this, but i had to tell someone!!!!
this weekend i went shopping (my mom took me for my birthday)...  anyway, this is the first time i had bought anything since my surgery (on october 3rd).  i had just borrowed a pair of pants, or wore something i already had, or something like that, i dont have money to buy clothes!!!  anyway, i went and tried on some pants... they were a size 16!!!!! i had been wearing 22/24 something around tehre before my  surgery!!  i also was able to get a couple of shirts that were a large!!!! just a plain large.. i got a sweater that was and xl, and another streachy top that was an xl but they didnt have a large!!! i was pretty excited.  i got home and weighed (which i dont do normally, every few weeks maybe) and anyway i am under 200lbs!!! i started at 274 and am down to about 196 :)  that has been since oct 3rd!!! i am finally starting to feel pretty good!!!!
thanks everybody for letting me tell!!!

WOW Cassie-----that is great.  I am so happy for you.  I am starting to see results too and it is so exciting.  Someone at church yesterday said,  "Terry, you look great and are absolutely glowing".  Congratulations.

Cassie,
i think it is very important for you to post wow moments. I know when I was waiting for surgery and right after, That is what inspired me to keep on doing what I was doing. Baby steps are very important, thats how you learn to walk! Congrats on ONederland. i am an everday weigher. If I forget to weigh and I drink or eat something than I won't weigh the rest of the day because I only weigh naked in the morning after my shower and the potty. ( after I blow dry my hair..LOL) I am OCD about it. Congrats

RoseMarie does good work.  We behave and work the plan and all is good.

2 Chronicles 16:9
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou has done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.
