I hope noone thinks its selfish of me.  But I wanna ask for prayers tomorrow that I get this job that I am going to interview for.  It would be such a blessing to my family and me.

Thanks for all your prayers!

Tracy,

You selfish??? Not at all! You didn't even ask for prayers the other day when you were in pain and had to do a quick St. V run!! My prayers are with you that you get the job that God wants you to have, rather if it be this one or if he has a better one lined up for you. My prayers are also that your body completely heals from the infections you had/have. There was something good that came from your pain the other day. Kim and I got to enjoy a very good conversation. Thank you for that.

Thank you for the prayers for my step-daughter, Shellie. I'm quite sure the lord was watching over her and her surgeon. I'm also thankful that she'll be getting out of rehab Saturday and can continue her healing at home. Often, we never know the purposes that God has for allowing things like brain tumors/cists to happen. I am definately one who tries to understand or find some good in whatever situation. In Shellie's case, we have watched Shyanne (her 3 yr old daughter) really blossom without mom there as a crutch. So...I pray that her blossoming will continue when Shellie does come home.

Also...thank you for the prayers for me. I know we aren't at a solution yet..and not even at full diagnosis yet (since they don't know how much of my intestines aren't functioning) but they do finally know what is going on. That is a start! I was getting so discouraged as each test came back okay. It's frustrating when you know 'something' is wrong and that 'something' isn't wanting to be named. No name, no cure. So please, continue to keep me (and my surgeons/specialists) in your prayers. Also, please continue to keep Bill in your prayers. His visiion is continuously getting worse as we wait for his cornea transplant date of Feb. 18th.

I do want to express my thanks to God too for keeping my kids & grandkids safe. I've heard that some of the Cash Express places have been robbed lately. God has been keeping his protection on my daughter and I thank him for that. It can get easy to think about all the negative things in life..but you know...all four of my grandkids are healthy. Sure, they get colds, but that's about it. My daughter & son are fine. Sure, over-weight, bad teeth, but fine. My son is a cancer survivor. I thank God for that. I have so much to be thankful for!!

And dear friends..I am thankful for each of you....

Nope...don't think you are selfish at all!  We all have needs and it's good to bring them to the Lord!  We ask a special blessing for you Tracy as you go for your interview tomorrow.  May this potential employer realize what an amazing lady you really are!  We ask for strength and healing for Brenda, Kim, Stacie, Lisa and Lisa's aunt as they each struggle with their individual situations. God knows each one of our needs!

Tracy - you are definitely not being selfish.  I am praying, crossing fingers, swinging chickens, flinging spaghetti - whatever it takes that you have success with this and get that job!

I will also continue to pray for everyone else as well.

Did you ever get Kim out to get makeup?

Tracy,  not a selfish request at all.  Prayers coming your way for peace and serenity, for wisdom, confidence and your abilities to shine through, that the interviewer sees an amazing potential within you and offers you the job.
