Advance Notice, Mark Your Calendars!

Hi everyone!

I know this is early notice, but I wanted anyone who is able to mark their calendars. I have a nutritionist appointment at Clarian Bariatrics on Feb. 13 (Friday) at 11:30 a.m. I was thinking maybe some of us could get together for lunch at, say, 1:30 at one of the restaurants at the Post Road exit in Indianapolis. I think there's an Outback, a Joe's Crab Shack, a Denney's, maybe a Cracker Barrel...and a few fast food places. Doesn't matter to me, I would just love the chance to meet some of you!

Jenny I am looking forward to meeting you.  I look forward to your posts and reading about your job.  I have an appt the day before on the 12th with my surgeon for my six month follow up and will have to request that day off so it is highly unlikely that I will be off work that day.  Keep us posted on the plans for that day and maybe it will drag on long enough for me to pop up there after work lol (sometimes I get off at 1)

Hey Jenny I might be able to make it as my days off will be changing to Fridays and Saturdays. Let Me Know when it gets closer to the day okay! I love meeting the people on the OH Indiana Board! Hope to see you then! Michelle

Oh, it doesn't matter to me at all. I love Outback, but if everyone wants to save money, Steak & Shake works for me! It's the people I'm interested in, not the food!

I will have to verify closer to that date, but I think I can take the afternoon off and meet you.  I put it on my calendar.  I don't know that side of town at all, but maybe Sherri can recommend something. 

Well, I chose that exit (off 70) because it's on my way home (I live in Richmond) and I figured everyone would know where it was. I sure hope you can make it, I'd love to meet you!

Oh, thanks! I didn't realize they weren't open for lunch. Well, we'll just have to choose one of the others. Denney's is right there and pretty reasonable.

I was reading your post and seen you was from Richmond, I'm from Richmond but live outside Centerville now ,but still work in Richmond.... I just had my surgery 4 weeks ago . My mom (2yrs out)and 2 of my cousins (7mos out) have all had it also. I wish we had a support group here.
