Crystals are found!

We found the Crystals! Someone had accidently picked them up not realizing they belonged to someone.

I am so glad that the crystals were located!

Just for an FYI- for those that are new! As many know, and some do not- I have hosted many of the exchanges, right before Robin started and this has not been the first time that coats have been picked up- it is a typical mistake that happens during the winter exchange! I am sorry that this had to happen again, and I wish that I would have thought to warn Robin about  it so that maybe we could have prevented this from happening again! It was caught the last time I remember it happening by the person being so excited that they tried the new coat on, and was surprised when lipstick and keys were located in the pockets-, I believe! So it does happen, and usually it is an honest mistake! I am so glad that things were worked out and found! I too hope that any of the newbies do not feel that this spoiled their experience in any way! It is growing so much and it is easier to keep happening! Maybe keeping our coats and personal items in the eating area, might work for the future! Just a thought!

Just wanted to tell everyone, especially Christie that I am sooo very sorry about the coat and calcium crystals. When I found the coat it was laying across the pew with the crystals next to it. In the past people have brought protein powder and such that they didnt like and I just thought that was the case. I want everyone to know that I would never steal from anyone. I feel just awful. I will go to any lengths to get the calcium back to Christe. I have not opened them yet, which I am so glad. I just feel terrible about the mistake. As far as the purses and the teenage girls, I have no idea. I came by myself except for my husband helping me carry my stuff in. I am sorry people had their purses gone through and have other things missing, but I dont know anything about that, just the cyrstals. When I got home I wondered what happened to the coat. I just thought maybe I layed it aside and someone else picked it up.

 

Again, Christe, please call me as soon as possible. Robyn has my cell and home# and will be calling you to give you my info. I will be more than glad to bring it back to you. I am so sorry this happened. I hope this doesnt give you a bad idea about our clothing exchanges. As far as I know nothing like this has ever happened. I have always enjoyed the exchanges and I think we have a great goup of people for the most part. I am so embarrased and publicly appologize.

Sweetie, like I told you on the phone, no harm, no foul.

It's not your fault.  Things on the pews and tables were pretty much up for grabs.  Someone had gone through my tote and put those items out.  I had placed the calcium powder in the tub and placed our coats over the top of them. 

Please don't be embarrassed, and there's no need for an apology.

As I said to you on the phone, please take out enough of the calcium for you to have about a week's supply to try and see if you like it.  I'm with you - anything not to have to swallow more pills! 

I'm so sorry you wondered about the coat.  If I had seen you come up and take the bag I would have let you know then so that you wouldn't have wondered what happened.

Please don't feel bad about it.  It was never my intent to publicly embarrass or humiliate anyone.  It was an honest mistake.  Chalk it up to me being a newbie at my first exchange - it does get a little crazy doesn't it?

I am sure that most or all of us (since I can't really speak for everyone here) don't think you took the calcium crystal maliciously.  I also have seen protein powders and such brought and passed out, it was an honest mistake.  Please don't feel bad about it, hugss.
