What a fun day!

I had a great time today!  It was a blast to put some faces with names, and to meet folks I hadn't yet had a chance to meet, and to see some folks again that I hadn't seen in awhile.  I'm not naming names as I'd be bound to leave out someone by accident!  This old brain just ain't the brightest crayon in the box anymore!

Getting something different to wear is just the icing on the cake.  I was able to unload a lot of stuff to unburden my closet!!

To those that nearly got my coat and my daughter's - Sorry!!  I figured they were ok stuffed in my totes under the table.  I'll know better next time.

Lisa - I want a copy of our group photo!  That should turn out so cool!

Jeannie - I definitely want the recipe for your ground chicken taco bake!

Sherri - I've been raving to hubby that he missed some darn good ham and beans!!

It was a great time, and I'm already looking forward to the next one.  My daughter Wendy is too!!

Ditto...It was a lot of fun.  It was great to meet so many of the folks from the board and I had a good time trying to match faces with the photos in our avatars.  The food was great, and Shanna, those buck eyes ROCK!  Those things could get me in some trouble.  I got lots of great clothes, but most of all, I just enjoyed being with others who have gone through this journey I'm taking right now.

Thanks so much to Robin and her church for hosting the event.  It was fabulous!

Yeah, I finally retired my poor little doggy.   It was good to see you again too Melissa.  You're looking great, and it will only get better from here.  Have a great night back at work!  See you at the next support group meeting.

Yes it was a fun time Christie!  It was so good to meet you!  I was so busy looking around trying to figure out who everyone was... I hope I didn't miss anyone??!!  I will tell you all... the profile pics do not do justice to anyone!!  Everyone is so much better looking in person!!  Floyd looks so much younger than his pic!! It was great to have Brenda there! Gail gives the best hugs!!! Tracy's dimples are just adorable!!  Lisa's family was helpful getting all my clothes in for me! Please thank them again for me Lisa! Jenn I wanted to just keep looking at you! You are so beautiful!  Melissa you look soooo young too. 
I could go on and on!!  Thanks to everyone for being so sweet to my neices and sister also.  Can't wait to see you all again!!

You're too sweet!  I wish I was young.  LOL  It was so nice meeting you today.  I got to meet some new people but I know I missed so many.  There's always next time.  I haven't been on the boards enough lately to recognize many.  Brenda and I both enjoyed it, but by the end of the day, she was pretty exhausted.

I had great fun. I HATED leaving half way through but I had actually kind of began crashing from my manic mixed episode too and so I needed to get the boys home but I just didn't wanna get all weepy or anything. I forgot my meds this morning and that really didn't help at all.. I loved meeting all the new people and getting my pic with Gail again to compare to the last.. WOOW Look how much sskinnier you are.
