It's Saturday... Clothing exchange day..

So I'll have 2 of the kids I babysit with me but I'm soo excited about the exchange. I'm making 5 flavor chicken and it's been going in the crock pot for a few hours so it'll be ready to shred probably in another couple hours (its ready some now but I dont wanna dry it out). The hardest part about me making this is the fact that I don't use or have a recipe and don't measure anything out sooo i have to try that so I can post the recipe late on.

It's 3 a.m. and I'm kind of tired but Im restless. The kiddos will be here in like an hour and a half too soooo it's hard to think bout laying back down but I will for a few.

Other than that nothing new is really happening. I'm  just totally excited.

I am up and at em and getting ready to head to Walmart lol.  Ohhh how I dread my trips to Walmart!!  It used to be such a treat to go to Walmart but since its the only place we have to shop I have come to resent it.  We do have a Kroger so I can get my groceries there about once a month but they don't have as good of prices as Walmart normally. 

I am so looking forward to the exchange today.  There are so many people coming who I havent had the chance to meet and so many that I have and look forward to chatting with again, I just don't see how it will be possible in such a short time lol.  I cleaned out my closet and actually came up with quite a few pairs of jeans, I didn't think I had much.  I also met up with Michelle last night, she won't be able to come today but she sent some things so I will be bringing those things.  What a lil cutie she is..all  4' 10" of her.  We are so blessed to have so many great people come together in one place.  I feel sorry for those people who are taking this journey without OH.   See ya'all in a bit, hugs and peace to you all.

Good morning everyone!

I have my goodies all ready to go. I did my sf peanut butter pudding. It's the first time I've made it for an OH thing. I've made it a few times for my family and my sil absolutely loves it...and he claims to HATE sf stuff! LOL! I also made a huge pot of ham & beans yesterday. I won't be bringing all of them with me...gotta leave some here for Bill! I figure that all the stews & soups should go over well as cold as the weather has been.

Bill has my truck all loaded up with Jean's clothes. Man, I can't believe we got them all in there!! I had thought for sure that it would take my truck & Floyd's! I am SOOOO glad that Lisa is bringing her sons to unload it though! Bill won't be with me. He & crowds..and his vision...doesn't get along very well. I think he buried my Tom-Tom though so I need to print of the directions.

After the exchange, I won't be able to go to the Pampered Chef party or Bella's birthday bash. Shellie is suppose to be moved to the rehab center this morning. Since it is also on the west side of town, I'll be going by there & bringing her some clothes. They want each patient to dress in their home clothes every day. I think that is a terrific policy! Truth be told, that's about the limit of exercise Shellie typically did before all of this. It's going to be harder for any of us to go see her once she is moved so I felt I should since I'll be on that side of town.

Great news!! Jay has a job! His orientation is the 31st. After I posted a prayer request for him to get a job, I was contacted and it is all turning out great. He needs size 42/30 black dress pants and size 13 black slip resistant shoes. If anyone has either, I know he'd appreciate it. I do appreciate so much the angel that helped make this happen. I really believe that all Jay needs is someone to give him a chance. Thank you Jay's angel. I hope it turns out as well for both of you as it has for Tiffany working with Jodi's sister Sarah.

I'm up, awake, and excited!  I'm so looking forward to meeting you all, and seeing some of you again. 

I have two totes full of clothes to bring (we're going to keep Lisa's hubby and son busy!), and I'm bringing my daughter as well.  She's going to bring some clothes too, as she's been dieting (she's not large enough for WLS) and has lost weight.

Looking forward to seeing everyone, and smelling all this wonderful food will drive me nuts.  I'll go for protein first!  (and maybe just a teeny taste of some of the other things!)

I'm planning on getting there about 10:30 or so, so I'll have plenty of time to unload and place the clothing out on tables. 

I have size 26-28 tops, and 22 and 24 in skirts, dresses, slacks.  Looking forward to getting some "new" size 18-20's!!  Yippee!!

I will be heading north in a little while. I am excited to meet those of you who will be there!!!  I have my clothes in the car and will be lugging them in.  I have a bit of everything... jeans... dress slacks.. summer clothes etc.  I hope someone will get some good use out of them.  Mostly size 24-22.  See you all soon!!

I am getting ready to go.  Waiting on Kim right now.  And I have a huge surprise!!!  My sister is coming along!  I am so excited for her to meet all of you!  I am also excited to meet the ones that I havent met yet.  And I cant wait to see the everyone I have met to reconnect. 

It's gonna be sooo fun!

I dont even care about the food.  And if I get clothes, thats a bonus... It's all about YOU!  I love my OH family!

Hi all,
 I am bummed- Penny & kids aren't coming after all. She just called & said her hubby forgot to tell her till morning that they are going to HIS Mom's birthday celebration & Willow's -today!! They have a thing about combining birthday's,at the last minute- she was so sorry. She kept saying "I'll make it up to you, Mom",please tell Shanna I'm sorry we can't make it". Oh, sometimes its hard being a MOL.
i am excited to come & meet all of those I only get to chat with on here & new people on here. So many friends- please come say hi to me ,if I don't get to you first,ok!!!!  See you all soon!
