My husband/I are making a really big pot of vegetable soup.  It has chuck roast in it with lots of veggies of course.  Is this an exceptable thing to bring for tomorrow?  (The meat cooked for 10+ hours in the crockpot, so it should be nice and tender).  Also, will there be a way to heat it up?  Stove or plug-in for a crock-pot?

The other thing is about clothes....I have no idea about sizing!  I have always been overweight.  I must have at least weighed a couple hundred by the time I was in kindergarten.  Just kidding.  But I seriously have no clue about sizes..nada.  Most of my clothes I've had for so long because I have refused to "go up to the next size."  I broke down over the summer and bought some lighter clothing~apparently coming to work in the nude is not optional.  Go figure!  My clothes that I have now and am fitting into are mostly 3X.   My coat is a 4X and could zip, (wouldn't before surgery) if the zipper weren't broken.  I can't even remember how long it has been since I've been out of the 3X category, so while I know I'm losing, I'm not really sure what this means in terms of sizes.  Anybody know what I'm talking about?  Tomorrow's event is so much more about meeting people that the clothing, however it would be nice to get an outfit or two.  I am starting a professional job next week and I would like to be at least presentable.  Any thoughts?   Thanks,

Theres usually a bigger selectin in the bigger sizes so you shouldn't have a problem finding something nice to wear.

As far as the soup it sounds delish, I'm not sure bout a plug in though.

Hey - from one Christina to another - I am bringing stuff in sizes 3x, 2x, 24's and 22's.  If you can wear a 24, get there early!  LOL  I have some really nice professional wear and some stuff that hasn't ever been worn and still has the price tags.

A size 3X is a size 22 24 or 26 sorta depending on your build.

Oops forgot ...I was going to add that yes, we will be having a pitch in lunch before doing the clothing exchange.  There are plug in's available and also a kitchen area.  If you can bring it in a crock pot and just plug it in I would think that would be ideal.

I am a St Francis patient and we aren't allowed beef for a year :(
