third visit anyone here that anthems.

well i seen kathy today .im very excited.now all thats left to do is sleep study. phc eval and dietition.i have anthems do we have to do 6 months of dietition before surgery .are three now and three after surgery with anthems.ive seen dietition before i dont know if that will count.

Everything to do with Anthem depends on which plan you have.  I would call the tollfree Member phone number and ask them to explain the steps to you if you haven't already and it may be in writing on the website.  You could check there first.

My insurance was Cigna and I had to do all mine before surgery.

I notice you are a patient of Dr. Cooper. Do you go to the Seymour support groups? Sometimes our local people (a few from crothersville and stuff) and I get together for lunch or something jus****ch for the posting.

can you go to the support group even if you havent had the surgery.and another thing does dr cooper let you make payments on what you owe him after the insurance has paid there part.

I don't have information about Dr. Cooper, but in regard to the support groups, you can definitely go!  My hospital/surgeon required it & it was so helpful to meet people and share similar experiences.  Everyone I have met has been super!  Sometimes you find out you have more in common that just WLS. 
Also, I agree with Frankie.   If you call the number on your insurance membership card, they should be able to tell you exactly what your plan is.  I have Anthem BCBS PPO.  They required a 5 year weight history, 6-month documentation of attempted weight loss/diet plan.  I did pay/am paying more out of my own pocket than I had anticipated, however considering the costs, I know I'm still getting a really good deal.
