Wednesday...
I am beyond excited about the clothing exchange. I may have to bring my daycare kiddos with me but I'm hoping not, but since I'm taking all of next week off to go to Baltimore I can't afford to take this weekend off too.
My brain is racing right now bout going back to school and finding a way to pay for it. Not fun!!!!!! It's driving me batty too soo thats another reason I think I'm manic.
Anyways prayers are still up for everyone in need. (( HUGS ))
Hope everybody has a wonderful day!
Jenny
I don't care how cold it is, today is a fabulous day! Bill & I are just so happy this morning!
Shellie went through the surgery great. The only negative that the doctor said was that this kind of cist, can come back. Shell has to have MRI's every 6-12 months to ensure that if it does come back, that they can take care of it at an early enough stage...while still a cist and not a tumor. It was basically a mass of blood vessels swollen up & gone wild. Of course, they can't say with 100% certainty until the pathology report comes back but they believe that it definately wasn't malignant. Shellie is in ICU now and will be probably for another day before being transfered to a regular room. She should be home before next Monday.
We got a call after we got home last night and a prayer request that I had made a few weeks ago is also on the brink of being answered. Yay!
After we left the hospital, we went to Tiffany's for a little bit. It was Chance's 8th birthday and we didn't want him to be totally bummed that we didn't do anything for it. We were going to go out to eat but since surgery got started so late (~4) and we didn't et out of there until close to 8, it was too late to do that, especially on a school night. He got a new PS2 game from us (Smack Down VS Raw) plus $8 in his card. Then we saw his report card. He was on the honor roll so he got another $10 for that. So..he was pretty happy about his birthday. We'll probably all go to Cici's on Sunday for his birthday celebration. While we were at Tiff's, we got to visit with the other grandkids too. For the first time, RJ got up on Papaw's lap and having a big-time conversation with him. RJ will be 3 next month and he's usually a Mamaw's boy. Shyanne was even very talkative which is VERY unusual for her!! She understood that Mommy was getting a boo-boo taken care of by doctors. That's not too bad of a grasp on it for a 3 1/2 yr older.
I went ahead and took today off. Dr. Bergman's office called yesterday to see if I'd come in earlier. So..we're going to the hospital this morning and then heading up there for my appointment (at 1:10 instead of 5). And then I'll work a short day tomorrow because of Bill's eye appointment. Thank goodness for vacation time!
Thank you so much for your prayers everyone. I call Dr. Wittle's office today to see if they've come up with anything. Let's hope we get some news there too..huh?
Huggs to you all....

I am so relieved to see so many prayers being answered lately for our OH family. It does send a powerful message about prayer doesn't it.
Hugs and Peace to you all.

33 lbs lost prior to surgery!
Daddy may get released today. If he does, I will make the drive up to get him then take him home to Portland. He will be ready to get home as soon as possible. He is expecting a litter of puppies any day now. I am excited to see them. They will be so tiny. The daddy is a whole 3.5 lbs and the momma is 6 lbs. Crazy to think these babies will be as small as baby kittens. Oh, they are minature Chihuahua and Rat Terrier puppies... they will be ready to go to their new homes around the end of February in case anyone is interested.
Kim seems to be doing ok. She is very sore and went for a recheck yesterday and they said she definately has nerve damage to her face. It couldn't be avoided because the cancer was right on the nerve in her forehead. I am going to take the kids to school this morning and hopefully visit with her for a bit.
Thanks again for all your prayers. I am certain God is blessing all of us for coming together in prayer.
Everyone please be careful out there in this icky snow and icy junk.
Huge hugs,
Tracy

I am up! I CANNOT sleep! I am so used to working days and then having to close last night- uugghh! I was @ wor****il 12:45 and then when I came in, I was so wound up! My mind was in overdrive! I am not complaining though- I have a job, I LOVE my job, and I am so happy about that! I just have forgotten what it is like to work NIGHTS! I did enjoy the night shift too though! The only draw back with that is missing my son! Ah well, he is 15 and he probably will be looking forward to MOM working MORE NIGHTS, hehe!
I would like to acknowledge some PRAISES from my side of the OH prayers requests-
I finally received a letter yesterday allowing me to claim UE after my ordeal from eye surgery! That will help so much- even though I am already working, the back pay will allow me to get back on track and make up for the tough times! I was so thrilled to see it be in my favor! They still have the opportunity to appeal it though- themselves! I will still keep my fingers ,toes and anything else that can be crossed, crossed!
Also, many of you know that I have had some issues with my son in the past year or so, grades, cutting himself, depression, housefire trauma- etc- WELL yesterday was report card day! He made ALL A's and B's! I am so proud of him! His new school only allows A's and B's to receive HIGH SCHOOL credits, and he received them all for last semester! I was kinda worried that he may not get them all, especially with med issues and breaking his leg and having lots of follow up appts- BUT he did it and he has not only proven to us that HE CAN DO IT!!!! BUT he has proven it to himself--!!!- THAT is a BIG milestone for him!
Lastly, I have been working deligently (SP) on fulfilling someone elses prayer request! It seems to be working! I am so blessed to be able to help in this way! I felt that I needed to do this, and not only for myself BUT for the family that I would be helping! They so deserve it! I am glad to be in the position to help! I feel so unable to help, in so many other ways! This is a praise for myself as well as the receiver- just for allowing me to accomplish this!
OK, I hope everyone has a great day and that all of our prayers continue to be heard and acted upon! GOD IS AN AWESOME GOD!!
Love to all! Hugz Dawn

Good morning everyone. Was up and out the door before 5:00 this morning and no snow. I was hoping that the weather forecast was wrong and then my DIL call and asked why I went to work in the weather, we had an inch of snow already and more coming down. She said my son's boss called for him to come in and get the vehicles ready for plowing. (On his off duty days he works for a company that also plows in the winter). Told her it wasn't snowing when I left. Guess we'll see what we get today. If worse comes to worse, I do have a bag I keep in the car during the winter with clothes and necessities.
Had a very nice visit with Carol last evening. It was so good to put a real person with a post. We talked about the possibility of those of us who live up north of Indy getting together once in a while for dinner and/or a visit. We know there are more people who live in the Westfield/Sheridan/****ro/Noblesville areas and beyond. Would anyone be interested?
Sheri, I am so thrilled to hear the results of the surgery. Will pray recovery time is quick and the cyst does not come back.
Tracy, hope today your dad feels even better.
Floyd, hope Brenda is feeling better each day.
Everyone have a wonderful day, stay safe, stay warm, and stay inside if you don't have to get out.
