Dad update

Hey all!  I got home around 4 pm.  Daddy came thru surgery just fine.  They were able to change out his pacemaker for a new one and change the main wire that broke.  He was in good spirits, ate lunch, and was taking a nap when we left.

Sally and I are most grateful for all your prayers and support during all of this.  I showed her the posts from yesterday and she was so impress that she is now signed up for the site and will be hopefully posting and joining us on special occassions!  I am excited about that.

I can't tell you how much you mean to me.  I am so blessed by all of you.  Like Marianne, Sally and I were talking today and saying that it's amazing that we came together because of our WLS but have found much more than that.  We truly are a family.

Ellen - thanks so much for doing the prayer post today too.

huge hugs to all my OH family!

Tracy,

I'm so happy to hear your good news.  Your prayer list is awesome and God is listening.  Seems like we've had some needed prayers lately and had outstanding outcomes.

Tracy,
I was privilaged to do the prayer post  today for you. I am also rejoicing with you in your Father's successful surgery! Our God is truly amazing !!!! I so agree, we are the special family that God chose to recover from a self- abusing lifestyle, into one of health, healing & wholeness. I don't know what I would do without all of you!!! I love you all and so appreciate that I have you in my life. Now I can't wait to get to know our new "sister" Susie,& share in our victories.
Love you lil Sis,

Tracy,

I am so glad that all went well for your dad yesterday! Isn't it amazing that they can go in and change his pacemaker in the morning and by noon, he's sitting up eating lunch!?!? We have such a wonderful God and he has blessed up with very knowledgeable specialists.

I too feel very blessed to have such a wonderful group of friends here. We may have come together because of our weight issues but I know I have bonded with you guys much more than I have most of the skinny people I know...and definately more than my family (beyond Bill, my kids & grandkids). You have been a wonderful addition here...and I just know that Sally will be as well!

huggs..

Tracy,

So glad your dad is doing well.

This is an amazing group.  Who knew we would find such good friends and much more than just WLS in common.  I look forward to Sally's posts.
