Tuesday Morning

Good morning everyone.  I’ve not been on the board for several days and was so amazed at the trials and tribulations so many people are going through.

I’ve been so swamped at work I even worked on Saturday.  Planned on working longer, but when the weather turned nasty beat a quick retreat to home.  Stopped at the store and when I came out it was already icy.  Glad I was only a couple of miles from home.  I spent the rest of the day reading.  I wasn’t about to get on the roads.  Sunday was gone before I knew it.  After church services we all pitched in to get the Christmas decorations taken down and put away.  Then several of us went out to dinner.  That took up most of the morning and afternoon.  We went home, put on pjs and called it a day.  When the alarm went off yesterday I sure wasn’t ready to start a new week again.  But here it is Tuesday and the week is flying by.

Tracy, I do hope your dad is doing better, will keep him lifted up that surgery goes well.

Sherri, will keep Shelli in prayer for a successful surgery.

Ellen, hope you and Dana are feeling much better.

Floyd, glad Brenda is home, hope she is doing well.  Sorry I haven’t been to see her again.  I was feeling under the weather and didn’t want to chance giving her any bugs.

May God touch all those who need His healing, mercy and grace.  Whether going in to surgery, or recovering from it, whether we need emotional, spiritual, physical healing, may we feel His presence, guiding us, protecting us, filling us.  May He be a source of solace and comfort to all today.

Love to all

Julie

Hi Everyone,

It is Tuesday.  I agree with Julie the week is going by fast.  I am glad to see so many positives from our posters.  I hope the trials we are all facing can be aleviated or made bearable.

Today is another day at school.  I am still testing kids.  I will be doing this for many days.  I love working with the kids though.  I have agreed to tutor another student.  I like working one on one with them.  I like how much more I observe while they are working.

I have to get in touch with the gynecologist today.  I have an been diagnosed with an HPV that is labeled with a high risk for becoming cancer.  I need to ask him if he would recommend that I get the Gardisil vaccine as a preventative for the other strains.  I also had a three week time of the month.  I am waiting for some biopsy results from a Colposcopy with a biospy and Endometrial biopsy just after New Years.  If they come back negative or with the same pathology we already know, I am scheduled for a D & C, Hysteroscopy, and Endometrial Ablation on February 9th.  I am very confident , but it's still another invasive procedure in less than a year.   I am sure all will be well.

Everyone have a great day.

Carol

Hi Carol,

I admire you so much for being a teacher.  That takes a special person to be a good teacher. Thank you for being that special person.  I don't think teachers get enough credit for all that they do.

Hope that you get some good answers and the drs can take care of your gyn problems quickly and safely.  And have you feeling better soon!
Blessings to you all, Leah

Hi Everyone,
Checking in before heading to my daughters.UGH~ now she has it, and DH isn't getting better as quickly as he'd like. It has been 6 days for me, & I still am having trouble with food/gas. Atleast the worst of it is over for me. My prayers are the twins won't get it,nor their little brother. This is the worst flu virus I have had,of course it kicked in my IBS as well. I appreciate all your prayers everyone, keep them coming.
I sure am looking forward to the Clothing Exchange this weekend. My daughter Penny & grandkids Willow & Jax, are coming with me. She supports me & has a weight issue, but doesn't feel that surgery is the route she wants to go. That is fine with me- I support her & understand. Emotional eating is big in my family history, & she is alot like me. I am just so happy she wants to join me/us. I want her to meet my dear other "family".Willow will be 6 Friday, so we are going to celebrate on Sunday. Plus, she is all excited that we are going to Bella's party.
Gotta go, blessings, prayers for healing, hope, and peace, love & support to you all,
Ellen

The ob/gyns office called about my biopsy and said i had complex atypical hyperplasia and they would wait for the dr to call and tell me more.
Well she called me yesterday and refered me to the cancer center my appt is Monday.
Scared me to death but she said that the cells are present and they feel with a d and c and an ablasion they can get everything with out doing a hysterctomy...
She said needed a specialist so she refered me there.
So take care of yourself and i dont know about you but i hated going to the ob/gyn and if i wouldnt have had the surgery i would have never seen her, that and the fact i thought i was bleeding to death..
So good luck with your biopsys and we will pray for the best...

Lisa...
I would beg for the hysterectomy if I was you.  I was so scared but now I am so glad.  Even though my cir****tances were different.  (Having the tumor removed)   I was down for weeks a month with such heavy bleeding.   I was anemic most of the time due to this. It took a couple of years to get a dr. to believe me that something was wrong.
I have not regretted the hysterectomy for one second.  Sure I went right into surgically induced menopause that night after surgery. But that was nothing compared to what I was going through.
Just my two cents hun.   I am only 44 and love that I am menopausal!!
Blessings to you all, Leah
