Today was my last Nut appointment to complete the 6 months physician directed diet that my insurance company requires.  She said she would have her letter to my surgeon tomorrow.  Now I just have to wait the surgeon to submit everything to my insurance company and wait for approval.  I meet all of the requirments that the insurance company has, I have completed all of the task they require I cannot imagine why I would not be approved yet I am scared!   I hate waiting!

The waiting is excrutiating.  I waited for 15 days to hear from my insurance and it was the longest 15 days of my life.  Hang in there and try to keep youself busy so you don't sit and focus on the "what if's".

Hang in there, Dawn! My doctor told me...they WILL pay for it, they will just make you jump through a bunch of hoops first! Sounds like you've done most of the jumping they require. I'm confident it will happen for you, but believe me I know how anxious you are. I honestly was never really nervous about the surgery. I wanted it *so badly* that all I could think about was getting it done. I wasn't even nervous the morning of surgery. I was confident in the hospital and my surgeon and I knew it was something I simply had to do.

WHEN you are approved, keep your mind on the positives that are going to happen in your life when you get rid of your extra weight. There's nothing like it. I'm 70 lbs. from my goal, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat even if I stopped losing right now.

Keep good thoughts, you have a lot to look forward to!
