Do you eat it?  I dont have my book handy to know if it is allowed or not.  I have never been a big fan of popcorn, but someon here at work made some and it made me wonder.

It smells great

I love popcorn.  My book says not to eat Movie Theater Popcorn, but doesn't make any mention of other types of popcorn.

I would love to have popcorn again eventually.  I know I am nowhere near far enough out yet, but maybe there's hope on the horizon!

I have been eating popcorn, without butter or oil, and use a cheddar flavoring powder.  I've had no problems with it, but I can't see where on St. V's sheets it says when we can, or if we can't.

Hi Kim!

I started eating the mini-bags of microwave Kettle Korn at about 4 months out, and it has never given me any problems. I love the stuff, and treat myself to it a couple of times a week. Just try a little, and see if you tolerate it.

By the way, you're cute as a button!

Kim,
I have popcorn every evening because I need the whole grains..and the crunch.  I've been eating it since 4 months out.  I eat the 94% fat free kettle corn.

I eat the 100 calorie size.  Still just do 1/2 a bag most times.  I try to stop when I am full.

Kim,

When I asked in the newbie group I was told we could start trying popcorn at 12 weeks.  They suggested air popped vs microwave.  If we did the microwave then they suggested 100 calorie.  I admit I've eaten it at walmart or target when I've been out and had the munchies, and I've eaten it plan from the movie.  But I stick to a small bag and will try to talk them into the "kids" size if I can otherwise I throw 1/2 of it away to keep myself from eating it all.  Nothing like popcorn, a cold diet soda and a movie!

I eat it and love it!  It makes me feel almost "normal" again but I only buy the 100 calorie microwave bags because I know that I will over eat.  The butter is OK but since it's low in calorie, not the greatest, but the Kettle corn rocks!

I never ate popcorn pre-op. Occassionlly coated in butter and brown sugar, but even that was rare.  Now, I eat it as an evening snack 3-4 days a week.
