Nectar

Thanks to Christie, I finally got my first protein drink in!!  I actually can tolerate the Fuzzy Navel Nectar. I want to buy some Nectar, but wondered if anyone sells samples of the various flavors as I'd like to make sure I buy the one I like the best.

The dietican at Clarians gave me a sample of beneprotein and its not bad..
I just cant do the shakes,makes my head spin..

No, no bad aftertaste. I can't handle the milky proteins either and this was pretty good. I could definately get a few of those down a day. Just looking for various flavors, dont want to get sick of the same thing all the time.

Glad that worked for you Melissa.  I'll be glad to bring you the rest of the canister Saturday.  I can't handle it.  As far as samples, I don't know about that.  The Women's Boutique at St. V's let me taste the Roadside Lemonade flavor.  I did order that, and I'm waiting on it to come in.

Christie, I'd love to buy the rest of your Fuzzy Navel from you on Saturday. What did you decide about the calcium crystals? I have an entire bottle taking up my counter space. What did the roadside lemonade taste like? Thanks again!!

I haven't tried the Calcium Crystals yet.  I'll try them this afternoon, and let you know.  The roadside lemonade flavor tastes like weak lemonade.  I'm going to add it to Crystal Light Lemonade and sip on it.  I think I can handle it.  The fuzzy navel was just too strong for me no matter what I did.

Christie, I wasn't sure how much water to put the fuzzy navel in, so I did 16oz, then let it sit in the fridge for a while. It wasn't very strong to me. I contemplated putting the peach tea crystal light in it, but didn't want to ruin what I knew I could get down. I'll try that next time.

The fuzzy navel is part of the protein I had yesterday and it was a lot easier to get down than the body fortress mixed with milk.  I mixed mine with with some diet apple juice and it was good that way.

You might call The Vitiamn shoppe. I know one is located on 86th street not far from the Fashion Mall just east of Keystone. That is where I got my only jar of nectar protein. It also was the fuzzy navel and I really liked it in the sugar free orange drink made by Wal-mart. (the same thing as crystal light orange) I mixed one scoop with a 23 ounce bottle of the orange drink. I recycle the sport type propel bottles and they hold 23 ounces. But I am out now. I asked at the time when I bought it if they had sample packages and they said they were out. So it sounded like they might carry them.
