Monday Morning!

Good morning all! How are you this morning? I'm yawning and stretching, but slowly waking up. It seems like it's a chilly morning in Terre Haute. Maybe it's a long johns day!

Gramma's back at the nursing home as of yesterday, and I hear she's doing better with the new casts. Thanks for the prayers.

I went with my son and husband last night to see Valkyrie. I thought it was pretty good, myself. Not the biggest Tom Cruise fan actually, but I thought the story was pretty good.

Good Monday Morning fellow Hoosier Losers.  I am on my way to work this morning so will keep it short.  Plan to meet Sheila at the Y after work today, will probably only have time to fit in the treadmill before I need to leave.  My son has music lessons in Greenwood on Monday nights at 8 so it will make for a very long day. 

I am so excited to see so many people planning to attend the upcoming clothing exchange.  I have to go through my closet on Wed when I am off and not much planned for the day.  I certainly will not have the massive amount that I brought last time but I do have some things. 

Well time to get moving, I hope everyone has a nice and peaceful day.

I'm not doing well at all. :( The meds I'm on are causing serious weight gain. I'm freaking out. I've gained 15 lbs in the past 3 months and I can't do it anymore. I see Dr. C for my 18 month appointment and I weigh more now than I did last time I saw her. Oh I swear I'm so embarrassed and feel so gross. I swore I'd never get over 200 lbs again and I'm at 201.

My psych mentioned getting me off the Seroquel (which I KNOW is the cause of it) but didn't tell me when/if I can start weening but im calling today.

Misty have you tried Topamax for your depression and mania yet? If not, ask. It also helps with weight loss.

I go to bed all warm and toasty and wake up freezing in the middle of the night....brr so im up grabbing more covers....

Its a crap didnt i just do that yesterday list.
My dh hates list and being told what to do so i just walk around complaining like how i am going to have to climb the ladder to take down the christmas lights(not) but after awhile they get the hint.

Good Morning Linda and all,

Brenda came home last night.  She was so ready to leave the hospital.  I agree that 9 days in the hospital is too many.  We don't even stay that long for WLS.  She's having some eating issues, but I hope that gets better. 

I'm only working half day so I can go home and get some laundry done, and clean the house abit.  I haven't been home long enough the past 10 days to get anything done.

CJ is sure happy to have us back home.  I felt so bad that he had to spend so much time alone.

Hope everyone stays warm today.
