Saturday!

Good morning all!

I got up expecting to see lots of snow.  We haven't really gotten anything here yet.  They cancelled all the ball games today already!  I was bummed about that.  I wanted to see him play this week since next week I will be out of town.  But that's ok... more Tyler and Mommy time for games and things today.

Marc surprised us with a basket of scrapbooking items that were on auction at the church for a fundraiser.  They did about 15 different baskets that they had donated to raise money for the children's  outreach ministry.  He bid and won this basket for the kids and me.  He knew we have been making a scrapbook of the cruise from last summer.  It was so cool to see the look on their faces.  It is full of all kinds of really neat things.  Scrapbooking can be very expensive so we were just getting by with little things I picked up from the dollar store.  Now we have some really cool things to work with and use.  I also picked up some old wallpaper sample books that Lowes was going to throw away.  I figured we could make cutouts and backgrounds with some of them.  So we will be working on that today for sure.

Kelli came home to share with us that one of her best friend, Elisabeth has cancer.  They took her to Peyton Manning's Children's Hospital last Wednesday.  She has a huge tumor on an ovary and around her abdominal area.  She had surgery but has to stay there for Chemo for several weeks.  Please keep her in your prayers too.

I hope everyone has a good day.  I am going to get busy and say some special prayers this morning and read my bible before the kids get up so we can do some fun stuff together.

Good Morning Everyone!   Its a wet and dismal looking day here in Crothersvile.  But it is warmer so no snow atleast.  It would be a great day to curl up in a blanket with a good book!

Tracy have fun with the scrapbooking.  I have never tried that but may have to take a look at what you have done and see if I would like it too.  It does sound like you are having a good time with it.  Know that your daughters friend is in my prayers.  Bless her heart! The tumor I had in my pelvis was so large they never found my ovaries. You have a great day Tracy!

My thoughts turn to Sherri and Bill knowing how worried they must be for Shelli.  Bless their hearts!

I am on my second day of meds for my pneumonia. I am coating my stomach with pepto (per drs. orders) prior to taking any of the meds.  Seem to be tolerating everything well so far. My coughing spells seem to be fewer, but no less intense when they happen. So I am hoping that gets better soon. Thanks to Christina, Michelle, Jenn, Misty and Stacie for checking up on me.  That means so much to me girls! Love you guys!

I read something yesterday that I have seen before. But it got me to thinking.  I don't remember the exact wording but the gist of it is that... When something irritates you in others it is because there is some resemblence of that in yourself. Or else it wouldn't bother you at all.  I have thought that to be quite interesting.  It led me to look at myself when I first heard that years ago.  A true and honest look into ourselves at times can be scary. But very rewarding to know that at any time we can evolve into a kinder, better person.  Something we can all benefit from.  Looking that honestly at ourselves can be so rewarding to all us.  Learning to go out of our 'comfort zones' and be the best possible person we can be.  How great is it that we can do this?  

Sharing of ourselves on this website is one great way we can reach out to others. I am so thankful for my OH family.  Love to you all!

Good Morning Tracy & All,
 My daughter & SIL and my 2 grandsons got home last night from Disney world last night. The boys were talking a mile a minute, their mom was so happy to them so was their sisters too, the boys were to excited to share hugs. They had a great time.
I didn't sleep very well at all last night maybe I will nap later.
But, I am very worried about Shellie, Bill & Sherri's daughter.
I feel so blessed to have my OH family, I wanted you all to know how much you mean to me.

Just a quickie.. I'm not feeling good at all. I did go get my hair cut/trimmed up though.. :| I hope to make it to the exchange next week but don't know if I can do tht drive alone.

It's a winter wonderland here in Middlebury! I spent most of the morning shoveling the white crap (my son is in LA visiting his brother - bet it ain't snowing there!). Times like this is when I miss having Peter around.

Decided today I was just going to goof off on the internet and clean the house, forgot I have to go to a funeral this afternoon. A 25 yr old in our church just died in his sleep, unbelievable! Did an autopsy to find out why.

3 weeks ago today I lost the love of my life, now it's just one day at a time for me.

Hi everybody!

Worked this morning, and have the rest of the day off. After the huge amount of hours I've been working, the rest of today and all day tomorrow will feel like a vacation! Unfortunately, I will still have to transcribe, but oh well. I'm thankful for the income.

I'll be working tomorrow on cooking dinner for several family members who will be coming over, and I'll be off to Wal-Mart in a little while to stock up on what I need. Maybe you better pray for them as they eat my cooking...
