Looking for used clothes for teen foster son.

Hello everyone,

I am shamelessly begging for clothing items for a 15 year old boy who has nothing and is coming to live with me soon.  What he does have, is seriously worn.  Holes in everything.  Crazy. Don't get me wrong, the monthly stipend will help, but takes a few weeks to get all set up.  I hope that my asking for stuff you aren't using anymore, I'm not offending anyone!  Certainly not my intention!

If anyone has a kid(s) who might have outgrown or grown bored of their wardrobe and you might want to unload it, please let me know! He is moving in on January 25 and I want to surprise him with a closet and chest of drawers full of stuff.  I am going to cruise the stores tomorrow for clearance sales, but money is tight since I just moved out on my own, so I thought that I would reach out to you nice folks for anything that you might not be needing anymore.  If you live within a few hours or so of NE Indiana, awesome, if not, I will, of course, cover shipping!

Here is what he needs:
1.  Jeans in 36 or 38 waist.  The shorter the inseam, the better, but whatever it is, he will be thrilled with it!
2.  Shirts, especially t-shirts and basic, long sleeved shirts, in XL and XXL.  He has lost weight but can wear either.
3.  Socks in a size 10 men's.
4.  Underwear (preferably boxer briefs) in a size large.
5.  He is in desperate need of sweatshirts or a jacket or coat of some kind.  He is freezing.
6.  Hats, of course, are always welcomed by teenaged boys!
7.  Any type of PJ's in XL or XXL would be wonderful.  I found out that he has been sleeping in an old pair of baggy jeans!

Keep in mind that although I have had foster kids before, I have never had a teenaged boy in the house and I've never done this on my own, so if I have forgotten anything, please let me know!

I'm not asking for money or anything, just your kids' old stuff that you were probably going to donate to Goodwill or something!  Again, hope I didn't offend.

Thanks.

Tara how are we suppose to let you know?  Your profile is set to private so that we can't email you or is there a way?

Tried to do this on the main board and lost the message. Send me a private message with your address & I'll send you some stuff. My son is smaller than the boy you describe, but I'm sure I can come up with some socks, boxers, etc. for him.

My son is the exact size you are looking for and we just cleaned out his closets. I have everything though not much, jeans (38/30 and 36/30) , shorts XL but stretchy, shirts (AE and Aeropostale XL's), socks, boxer briefs that he wouldn't wear because they were the wrong color, and a few hoodie jackets also. And if interested I have a perfectly only worn one year (barely) Old Nave cameo downed filled winter jacket.

Like I said... it isn't much... just a few items here and there but I'm sure my son would have it go to helping out another teen in need then me taking it to the clothing exchange.

Just contact me

Blessings
