My son's WOW moment!

Last night Tyler was horsing around with me and he came up behind me and threw his arms around me to give me a "bear hug" and all the sudden he started yelling... "Kelli, Kelli!!!  Come here, Hug mom really hard like this!!!!  SHE HAS RIBS!"

I almost busted out laughing and rolling on the floor.  It never occurred to me that in his 11 years he never felt my ribs!  It is true though, I did have them well protected and padded over his lifetime so far.

It made me smile!  I never thought my kids would have WOW moments too.

Huge hugs,
Tracy

ROFL!   Congratulations on the rediscovery of your ribs!  Someday, I hope to find mine too.

That's so cool Tracy. Isn't it great when family and friends are noticing those things? I found my hips yesterday for the first time in a very long time! Makes it worth it, doesn't it?

Tracy,

My son, who's 22 and out of the house, came up to me repeatedly during our meetings for Christmas and would hug me and say, "Where's the rest of my Mommy?"  Let me just tell you some of the time I wasn't sure if I was going to laugh or cry.  He hasn't called me Mommy since he was about 4.  But it made me feel good to have him show me a change had been made.

That's so cool.  I love that!  I hope that my son will still call me Mommy always.  My oldest 3 do... but they are girls.  I don't blame you for crying.   I teared up reading it.

Huge hugs,
Tracy
