Good morning!

Ugh I've been up all night with this respiratory crud I've had off and on for over a month. This time I woke up feeling nauseated and like i was going to get sick so I took a couple Phenergan and I'm praying it works. My chest just hurts and aches.

Other than that everything is "OK" I think.

I hope you all have a good day...

Anyone have any big plans for the weekend?

Good Morning Fellow Hoosier Losers!

Misty I sure hope you get to feeling better soon, you and Leah both.

My membership was up at Curves so I changed to the Y so I can do the treadmill.  I have always admired people who could do the treadmill, theres no reason to sit and admire anymore.  I am meeting with a personal trainer at the Y this morning.  I am so excited about that.  She will help me get started on an exercise program and monitor me for the next twelve weeks.  I tend to stay focused when I know I am under the radar lol.

I went to Support group last night, and really glad I did.  I learned about carbs, something I just could not understand.  Next month we will have a speaker from the eating disorders clinic come to talk about body dismorphia.  I think in April Dr Huse is coming to discuss plastic surgery.  That will be really interesting for me.

I am off work today so I of course have a million things to try and cram in.  I hope everyone has a wonderful day.  Hugs and peace to you all.

I am so glad you like the treadmill.... I am doing that at the Y here too.  I have something to hang on to so I don't fall and break my neck.  I love the weight machines too.  I love the water aerobics too.
Hope your day off went well and not tooooo busy.  Have a great weekend.
Blessings to you all, Leah

Good morning everyone!

Every since that test on Tuesday, I had been working on getting a head cold. I kept blowing it off because I thought it was all from having that dang tube in my nose & throat. Last night, my head was really stuffed up so I took some Nyquil at bedtime (instead of my sleeping pill) and boy did it knock me out. I only got up once to go to the bathroom and barely remember that. I'm feeling better this morning but if we didn't have alot to do today, I'd take another dose and spend the day sleeping the rest of it gone. If I don't put a stop to it fast, it goes into my chest and hello bronchitis.

I really love this 4 day work-week stuff! I asked my boss if she could get hold of HR though and find out when 'my' holidays are suppose to be. Four of them this year fall on Fridays...my day off.

Bill & his sister went to their mom's lawer yesterday to try to get all of her affairs settled. Boy people, try to have a very detailed will to prevent your kids from going through this! The fastest the lawer said that it could take to wrap things up is 6 weeks...and that is without anyone contesting anything. They left there feeling like nothing got accomplished. That can be frustrating. Oh well, we can't do anything about that. We are going to empty up Jean's storage units today. At least with that, we CAN do something about!

Bill & I went and saw Brenda last night. She is doing so much better. The doctor said that if she continues to improve at this rate that they would discuss when she could go home on Monday.

Gail & I had lunch together yesterday. That was alot of fun and boy does she look fantastic! I can't think of anyone who deserves this more!! Love ya sweetie!

Well..you all have a terric Friday!

Thanks for the update on Brenda. She and Floyd continue to be in my prayers.
Your 4 day work weeks will spoil ya! How cool is that?
I hope you don't get that cold Sherri.  You don't need anything more healthwise going do ya?  I so hope that they can get your stomach healed up soon.  I can't imagine how it must feel for you.  So frustrating.  My heart goes out to you Sherri.
Have a good weekend.
Blessings to you all, Leah

Leah,

I've been on 4 day weeks for awhile. They are pretty fantastic. I love 3 days off every week! I usually schedule medical procedures on Fridays though if I can.

My cold is doing better today. I'm going to do the Nyquil again. I think that ought to lick it. It'll help that I'm going to stay inside tomorrow. The weather is suppose to get really bad starting ~midnight so my tush is staying warm! lol.

My tummy does get frustrating but after this long, I'm kinda use to it too. I'm less accepting of it first thing in the morning (that's when my pain is the worst) and the evenings when my distention is at it's worst (also painful). Ah well...maybe they'll have some answers for me soon.

Good morning all!

I am trying to figure out my plans for today.  I am going to spend most of the day in prayer today.  It is our Quarterly Prayer Vigil at church.  We sign up for 30 minute time slots to go and pray for the church and the nation.  Someone is at the church praying for 24 hours straight.  I am also going to spend an additional 30 minutes there to pray for my OH family members.  Aside from that I plan to spend some time at home reflecting on some things in my life and praying about that as well.

I have not heard any new news on the position I applied for earlier this week.  But I am not giving up on it.  I know it takes time to review everything and that there are alot of things to go through when trying to get a position like this.  Just keeping my fingers crossed.  It would make such a difference in my life financially.

I hope all of you have a great weekend.  I am planning to see Frankie on Sunday!! and Tyler has a basketball game on Saturday.

Huge hugs,
Tracy

Good morning everyone. Zachary woke up several times last night, not sure why, so I'm ready for a nap! I went to the Plainfield support group meeting last night and had a great time. I met Mommy Lissa, Linda Kay, and Christie and her hubby. It was great to put faces with the avatars! ;o) The support group meetings are one place that I feel normal and like I'm not the only person i the world going through this (even though I know I'm not).

No plans for the weekend. This will be my last weekend off work, so I'm going to enjoy my time with my family. Have a great weekend everyone and I hope everyone who is fighting the cruds feel better soon!
