I am new to this website.  I know two people that have had great success with surgery.  Unfortunately, weight loss surgery is excluded in my insurance policy.  Can people give me self pay cost at the different locations around Indiana?

I don't know if they adjust the cost for self pay patients, but I can tell you what my bills say. I'll send you a message.

The costs are adjusted for self pay patients.  It all depends on where you go and what procedure you have.  The ones I checked were around 17,500 for lap band and 25,000 for RNY.

Good luck.  Don't ya just love insurance.

If you're going the self-pay route, don't feel awkward about negotiating!!! Ask for a discount. What's the worst they can do, say no? You're not out anything. Just like a new car, never pay sticker price. The insurance companies don't, why should you?
